Homemade lemon sugar lip scrub

Lips are sensitve and during the winter can easily become cracked and dry. prevent/ cure this with the homemade lemon sugar lip scrub recipe. this is easy and fun to make.

for this you will need

1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tsp granulated sugar

a small bowl or container

1 1/2 tsp coconut oil

mix in a bowl to form a thick paste add more sugar if it is too watery. once it is all mixed you can transfer to a storage container.( i use a small mason jar.) this will stay fresh for about a week or so in the fridge. 

to use liberal amount to your lips and use your finger to rub in a circular motion. some people like to use a tooth brush for extra exfoliation. but be careful not to scrub too hard to break the skin and bleed if you use the tooth brush method. once you feel you successfully exfoliated your lips rinse with warm water apply some Vaseline or your favorite lip balm

Curly hair cleanse and condition

If you have curly hair you understand the struggle of frizz and caking on expensive harmful products to get the perfect curl. With this recipe for the curly hair cleanse you wont need any expensive products. Using this cleanse you will get fuller more volume, and better defined curls. You can go longer between washes without looking oily 

If you use this method you no longer need to use store bought expensive shampoo.  this method is easy to make and use and gives better results than store bought shampoos filled with chemicals that dry out and can damage your hair overtime

Homemade curly hair cleanse recipe 

Boil one quart of water

add 1/4 cup of baking soda

Stir and let cool

add to a bottle you can easily use in the shower ( i prefer spray bottle)

spray a liberal amount on hair and scalp 

massage scalp and rinse

I recommend using an apple cider vinegar hair rinse. just using the baking soda mixture can dry your hair. the Apple cider vinegar will make your hair soft and shiny.

Take any container you wish to use in the shower ( i use a spray bottle) mix fifty percent water fifty percent apple cider vinegar. spray on hair after baking soda cleanse i like to keep it on an massage into hair for about a minute. wash out. towel dry hair. don’t worry the vinegar smell will go away when your hair is totally dry but try to refrain from blow drying your hair because that can easily lead to split ends
