I did not realise that @baskervillescoffeehouse also had gluten free bread, so I jumped all over that today and had a very decadent, not particularly healthy, gluten free toasty. . . I think it’s some type of tiger bread, with ham, cheese & chilli jam 😋 it was damn delicious! Can’t go wrong with gooey cheese in my book. ⭐️ 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒚 𝑷𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝑻𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒔 ⭐️ . . Popped to Asda after work as I’d got pork mince out of the freezer & nothing planned. Came out £30 poorer (never shop when hungry!!!) Needed something that I didn’t have to slave over ~ hello tacos! Made a spicy seasoning, baked taco shells, grated cheese and got messy ☺️ . Who else can’t eat tacos without getting in absolute state? I guess most people don’t feel that comfortable giving them self or receiving compliments. I know I don’t. It’s lovely to hear them, and I’m pretty lucky in the job I do, people often compliment on how I look and my work etc etc. . But having to compliment yourself is hard, I think I need to get better at it. There’s no harm in showing a little self love now is there . . I’m being bold with my statement, but I like to think I’m a good egg on this 🌏 I make people feel better about themselves everyday, #hairdresserslife I think (well I hope) I bring joy to others around me. I’m a do-er - I.e I will go out of my way to help others, always have most probably always will. I’m a great listener. I’m a great cook ☺️ I’m a great friend. 👩‍🍳 𝙉𝙤 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙊𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙨 . . This rather unattractive photo is meant to look really instagrammy, appetising & make you go “yum”. #fail 🤣 #musttryharder . This is a recipe that I saw on @bbcone @eatwellforless ~ It’s I guess a flapjack type thing, however mine never really went that hard. So when getting it out the tin 1/4 of it landed on the floor as it was so crumbly 🤦‍♀️ . I took some to work & surprisingly the girls loved it! They said it was “rather moreish” and they’d like it for breakfast. . Hasten to add, there wasn’t much left in the pot I took it in. 💟 𝕄𝕪 𝔽𝕒𝕧𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕒𝕝... 💟 . #PositivityChallengeSept . Day 5 of 30 to spread positivity awareness... . ‼️ Disclaimer - not my photo (freebie from the web) . Rewind 3 months and my absolute favourite meal of all time, would be slow cooked lamb shanks, dauphinois potatoes, veg & mint sauce 😋 🐑 . However, when I had my allergy test, I discovered that not only was it wheat, but it was red meat too. That means no lamb shanks for me. #endoftheworld (Hence no pic of my own lamb shank cooking) I’m not going to be negative about it though, it’s only a couple things out of many other foods I can actually eat. I’m learning to move pork more. And thinking positively, if it means I won’t be visiting the 🚽 so much then I will gladly give it up. . Can’t lie, I may have it one day again, just need to make sure I’m at home if you get what I mean 😉 #poosplosion 💩 . What are your favourite meals? ⭐️ 𝙿𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚜 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝙱𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚔𝚏𝚊𝚜𝚝 (fail 😩) . Fancied something different for breakfast this morning & food supplies are low as the shop is coming tonight... . Dug around in my cupboard & found I’d bought this batter mix from @tescofood . I made it up with some almond milk that I have, they smelt yummy - but the taste was rather odd. They were chewy... Like spongey almost. They didn’t colour, even when I tried to burn them 🤦‍♀️ I served mine up with lemon juice & sugar (I’m a traditionalist that way 😉) . Has anyone else had any experience with this pre made mix? Can anyone give me any recipes for pancakes? ⭐️ L U N C H @ W O R K . . Made another frittata this week, added pesto & potato to it - delicious. Grabbed a salad from @baskervillescoffeehouse as mine looked pretty limp in the fridge 😬 . I think I’m a little obsessed with frittatas - trying to cling on to summer ☀️ They are fantastic for those of us who are gluten free. No wheat in sight! .
