Guys! It’s been so long since I last posted and for that I am sorry! I’ve been trying to get ready for school, recently switched up my hours at my job, constantly trying to fit workouts in, and just living life.
To end the summer, I went on a short vacation with my coworkers and it was definitely needed. I just needed a break from the workplace and life to just chill for a couple of days with no worries. I honestly cannot wait until we can get together and do it again. They’re a great group of girls and I’m very fortunate to have them as friends in my life.
Two weeks ago, I had my first class for grad school and I have to say that I was freaking out. I read both of my syllabi for my classes and it really seemed like a lot. The grading system that was listed on the syllabus for both classes also had me freaking out. I have absolutely no room for error, these people are not here to play games. However, my first class did go really well. I had my second class this past Saturday and it definitely will be interesting. I will be sure to keep you all updated on my experiences with grad school!
On a final note, I just want to let you all know that I’m at 104lbs. I started this fitness journey back in May and I have come quite far. I started out at 92lbs and in a span of 4 months I’ve gained just over 10lbs. I’ve upped my calorie and protein intake and I’ve added back chicken into my diet to help get that extra protein in. When I started working out, I only did body weight exercises and used 10lb weights. I recently started to get into actually lifting and now I’m up to 25lbs which I started using this past month. By this time next month I’m hoping to be lifting or starting to lift 50lbs. I’m taking it slow and easing my way into it because it’s never something that I’ve taken seriously. Once I get more comfortable, I plan to get more serious and I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated!
Thanks for reading. I’m still hoping as time goes on I’ll have more time to make posts.
