Olivia had been hesitant about coming to this thing. Months ago, she had told Vanessa to take the photographer job here. She had never received confirmation on whether Vanessa had taken it or not. Plus, her mother had forced her to come. Olivia would have much rather spent the night in the diner, but she had come so as to not get busted not attending the function. Almost as soon as she walked in, she caught sight of a camera flash. Once the blinding light faded, the familiar face and body of Vanessa materialized. Suppressing a surprised yelp, Olivia ducked behind the nearest wall, breathing heavily. What was she supposed to now?
At the sound of footsteps, Olivia jumped. Clutching her hand to her chest, she exclaimed, “Oh my God, you scared me!”
