I don’t want a Kanej kiss (not right now, anyway). You know what I do want?

Give me Kaz’s gloved hands brushing Inej’s cheek, cupping her jaw, holding her fingers with his own. Give me Kaz helping Inej dress - lifting her hood, holding her coat or vest as she puts it on, tying her shoes - honouring the layers that keep her safe from those that hurt her in the past and those that would try to hurt her now.

Give me Inej asking Kaz to brush or braid or unbraid her hair. Give me Inej holding Kaz’s bare hand in her lap, talking softly to him as he works past the panic lapping at him. Give me Inej pressing her forehead against his as they both learn to breathe in each other’s space.

Let their first kisses be soft and safe - a gentle brush of lips against the other’s hair, the back of a hand, or the apple of a cheek. Let it be slow, considered, careful. Never impulsive, never unanticipated. Their eyes always meet before any other part of them does. And even then, maybe the first time their lips meet it’s while Inej’s headscarf is still covering her mouth.

I want to watch them relearn intimacy together without the expectation that they need to ‘legitimise’ their relationship by kissing. I want them to enjoy and take pride in the little moments of contact they manage because they both know just how valuable they are.

interrupting your day to say that kaz learned suli just for inej.

at first he didn’t even realize why he did it, pouring over a book he would probably tell himself it’s so they could communicate more easily. but later (post ck) it becomes far more personal, notes and sentences whispered quietly between the two as inej reconnects with her culture.

If during the strike, it's announced about AI generated shows. We are not watching them. Not even out of curiosity. Let them fail every AI generated show they try make.

The human voice can not be replaced by AI. Don't let them try.
