“Wakey wakey!||FNDragonAu
lowbloodpressurelord:
Silently Kyouya watched the other dragon in the water, the swaying motion a good indication of the thought process his troublesome companion was undergoing. Shaking his head slightly, followed routinely by each of his limbs, he tried ridding himself of the last few droplets of water that were trailing off his scales.
The sinking sun was gradually stealing away its warmth as night approached and soon it would be time for him to take to the skies in search of prey and, hopefully, be done with his overly exuberant acquaintance. At least for the time being…
The Nocturne supposed he should have expected the reply he eventually received, a violet reptilian eye twitching in irritation. He supposed it would be prudent to start searching for a new abode which the Mirror dragon would not easily find but until then, it seemed he would just have to make do with the unfortunate situation.
Huffing out a breath at the unwelcome proposal, he directed a steely gaze at the other before snapping a curt reply.
“Fine.”
Having resigned himself to his hopefully temporary fate, Kyouya stared quietly at the water for a moment before redirecting his gaze back to the other dragon. After finally ridding himself of all moisture, he hoped he wasn’t going to be expected to play some form of water game of all things. One had to draw a line somewhere…
“Well, what do you want to play exactly?”
By this point, Mizumachi really should be sleeping, but because he still had adrenaline pumping through his veins from that exciting ‘game’ of tag, he was wide awake at the moment! Just give him a bit and he’ll get sleepy and leave you alone for now. It was pure chance that he had accidentally stumbled into your lair to wake you up earlier than you expected to--- but the next time wasn’t going to be a mistake.
He figured that he’d found a ‘new friend’ and that meant that he was going to do his best to keep the friendly relations strong, by visiting you often! What did that really mean? He was likely going to end up waking you up too early for your tastes and you were going to have to play a game of tag together until Mizumachi escaped into the waters again.
Things like subtle nuances were lost on this dragon. He wasn’t exactly the sort to realize someone was twitching an eye in annoyance, or that the claws digging into the earth meant that another dragon was readying themselves for a fight after having seen him. He could get violent, but it’s not like it’s all the time, you know? He was just very competitive is all!
Sure... some others of his kind were ridiculously violent and aggressive, but he was rather peaceful-- until a game was involved. If you see a red scaled Mirror dragon that was part imperial named Agon--- well, you may as well run away. The guy was ruthless. Mizumachi has learned that the hard way. The wound has healed since then, but he now favored one shoulder other the other. It was his weak spot.
“We can play anything! Maybe we can play hide and seek or play tag again like we were doing earlier!” Nope, don’t mind him. He’s just an idiot who thought the angry roars from before was just because you weren’t able to catch him in this lovely game of tag. “What kinds of games do you like to play? We can try playing that too!”
Even if it’s a dangerous game, he’ll play! As long as he doesn’t die or anything, he’ll be 100% okay with playing a game with you! “I also like races! Swimming races, or running races. Hunting races are fun too!”
