/ hi friends:

recently i lost my insurance due to aging out ( helluva birthday present , right ? ) of my dad’s insurance . this means medicines are not cheap anymore .

for one of my conditions i take a medication that is absolutely essential to my care . without insurance it is incredibly and unreasonably expensive to get a supply .

i have exhausted every option to make it cheaper , including goodrx , and have managed to get it down to $406 in my area . this , combined with my other medications that have gone up significantly in price , is not something i can afford . but i have to take it and can’t quit it** .

so i come to you asking for help . if anyone , anyone reading this , anyone feels called or is able to help me afford this medicine , i would be most grateful .

** if i don’t have this medicine i can and likely will have debilitating seizures . it’s a medicine you can’t just come off of like the others i take . its side effects of coming off of it are extreme .

I’ve been alright, I suppose. Just alright. Very tired, which worries my husband, of course, but he shouldn’t worry so much. I really haven’t been up to too much.

Well, I have this new friend Maggie. She’s an investigative journalist and she’s really smart. I swear, she can read you like a book if she wants. She had me figured out in a blink.

I also have a friend named Evelyn. She owns a nightlife spot I sometimes visit for a drink when I want to unwind. It’s called Vermilion, I believe? They have really good snacks.

Ivy is one of my friends as well, for she comes to visit a lot, and we talk when she does.

And any friend of Victor’s is a friend of mine, of course, which means I have my fair share of friends! He’s got a decent handful of folks who come around and support us.
