It is with an unfathomably heavy heart that today, in his 10th year of love and life, that Frizbee the cockatiel has passed.

I loved and continue to love you with all my heart, Friz, you were my special best friend and I will never ever forget you.

These are the last pictures I took of him.

Hey, for one reason or another this blog has been getting quite a few followers lately and I just wanna remind that, uhhh, Frizbee’s dead and that this is now a memorial blog with very sparse bird blogging.

Pride month might be over, the companies might have all ditched their pride flags, but we're still here!

Your lgbtq+ friends are still out here living our authentic lives, still facing struggles and discrimination, and still fighting for the rights of everyone in our community!

In fact, July is Disability Pride Month and a lot of us are also disabled, so now's the time to lift up disabled voices especially!

This is a really well made article, to the point where I almost feel like nothing needs to be added, but I’ll say only this.  Literally if you are not in the right financial and housing place to have a 3 year old, you very well might not be in the right place to own a big parrot. Macaws and grey parrots and cockatoos are beautiful and intelligent animals, but they’re also a Lot when it comes to food, space, and mental stimulus, all on top of a lifespan reaching 50 years easily.  I’m not saying not to get one, but they are exotic animals that need more careful consideration than your average domesticated pet.
