Room Tour!!!
I thought maybe that this could be a trend/chain and I’ve never done one of those so I’ll tag people at the end and see if they want to join in on the fun!
This is my first dresser which is terrible as I mentioned in a past post but it also shows my giant bulbasaur with a flower crown I got at the wisconsin renaissance faire the day after I went to the pray for the wicked tour by panic! at the disco (brendon urie atp). Behind it I have Rocky Horror Picture Show and Succession posters (favorite movie and favorite show)
Next is the centerpiece of my room, my turntable and my record shelf. I added a bunch of stickers I mostly got from etsy but also some from record companies (far hole records, deadair records, sound merch) On the top of my shelf I have my CD player and my most prized CD (signed and numbered Hi, I’m Chris Crying in the Applebees which is my favorite thing ever by him). Next to that is a random light I got from my grandma for Christmas (she loves the bin stores) and my Magdalena Bay Nice Day singles which I am very happy to say I got at retail price ($200+ is crazy guys…) You can look at all of my records to see what you know! the left are my favorite artists and the right are ones I got unwillingly or I just didn’t have enough room on the left…
This is my door… the sign above is how I got my username so that’s why I’m showing it. I also just put up the sign on the wall next to the door and I think it looks nice!
My closet… love the beads but also hate the beads when I try to hang up clothes. They were the first thing I bought when I moved in though so they’re staying! also my bags with dragonfly hangers that I got at Lowe’s. My closet is stuffed because it’s not even a walk in at all and there’s a huge block at the bottom because that’s where the air filter goes in the living room.
This is my bookshelf with all of my childhood books. I want to reread the Welcome to Night Vale ones (besides The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives in Your Home because I read that in January last year and I still think about it sometimes) I exclusively read on my kobo or my phone/computer because the books are lowkey cheaper and its just nice to have a bunch of books at my disposal! The trophies on the shelf are cheerleading from when I was in 1st grade, a wallball trophy, and you can't see it but a plastic one from when I graduated preschool.
FINALLY... my bed! I have my Land's End quilt out because its summer and I get overheated easily and my kitsch pillow cases that costed too much. (cameo of my penguin blanket at the bottom, yes its Christmas themed but idc) I have my Fishmonger by underscores Fish of New Monger poster above my bed with two fake flower strands. I just put the Magdalena Bay poster up above my flower picture that supposedly came from my grandma's friend but tbh it could have came from homegoods and I will never know. It also has a flower strand that is draped on it. The chair railing on my wall (the white strip) is literally the worst thing ever when you just want to sit with your back on the wall but whatever...
