The Head of Story on Frozen 3 has been revealed to be Hillary Bradfield, alongside Frozen 2's Head of Story, Normand Lemay, by the Laughing Place.
Previously, in Frozen, the Head of Story was Paul Briggs, and in Frozen 2 it was Normand Lemay.
Hillary Bradfield's Disney projects
Hillary Bradfield has worked as a storyboard apprentice on Frozen 2 (2019), and as Storyboard artist on 1 episode of Tangled: The Series (2017), and Encanto (2021), and as a director on 1 episode of Short Circuit (2022), and 100 Years of Disney Animation: A Shorts Celebration (2023), and now as the Head of Story on Frozen 3 (2027).
Normand Lemay's Disney Projects
Normand Lemay has worked as an additional storyboard artist on Encanto (2021), and Wish (2023), and as story artist on Big Hero 6 (2016), Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), Frozen 2 (2019), and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), and as a storyboard artist on Frozen (2013), Big Hero 6 (2014), Zootopia (2016), Moana (2016), and the very recent Zootopia 2 (2025), and now as the Head of Story on Frozen 3 (2027).
Most of their projects that they've worked on have been hits and successes and it's great to see them achieving superior roles in their career with Walt Disney Animation Studios and getting the recognition they deserve (because I bet most of us didn't even know who these people were until now!)
So far, the new and seemingly important roles in production that have been revealed are, Trent Correy as Co Director alongside Jennifer Lee, and the Head of Story as Hillary Bradfield alongside Normand Lemay. The main cast have also been confirmed to return with their new recent record breaking pay deal with Disney, but excluded from that deal was Jonathan Groff for unrevealed reasons (most likely because Elsa, Anna and Olaf are the faces of the franchise). Frozen 3 is in good hands and I can't wait to see where this new creative team takes the story of Frozen and the characters arcs.
