So Guy used to work with children, do you think he get's super soft around them? Or protective of abused/ beaten kids?(sorry I just love the concept of snarky guy gardner getting soft around kids)
(I haven’t posted in ages but oh my gosh this ask hit me hard) Yes yes so much yes! I imagine that he’s incredible with kids but in the non-coddling way. If it’s a playground scuffle or something light then he’ll try to guide the kids to stand up for themselves and find their own inner strength. The minute it’s a serious abuse issue though he will not hesitate to bust out the fists and abrasive language we know and love him for. He knows how difficult it is to get out of those situations on your own so he won’t hold back, essentially turning into a big mama bear.
He takes kids’ problems very seriously, whether they’re playground scuffles or household violence, and he doesn’t talk down to them just because they’re kids. For frick’s sake, he taught kids with disabilities, he knows how to nurture kids in the best way. Also the mental image of him playing space cops and robbers and getting mauled by a group of kids on a playground is just too fantastic for words.
