Kyou in Magnolia?!
Kyou laughed and nodded. “Sure thing, I’ll try to not get dragged into it.” Needless to say, her naturally violent nature was bound to come out at some point, but she was determined to behave. For now. Especially as she was still under the impression that one of the mages could turn her into a rabbit.
“Er… I’m kind of the only one that can do that sort of magic.” She mentioned, picking up her thoughts of the moment. “I’d be more worried about getting frozen or singed than that.”
"I see, that's a relief. Getting frozen or singed is better than being turned into an animal, I guess. I mean, hospitals can't exactly treat transformations. What would a doctor do if a rabbit came in claiming it was a hum-" Kyou stopped. "Wait a second! Did you just read my mind?"

Kyou stared at Tomoyo’s exposed legs, then jerked her eyes away with some effort. “N-nothing in particular, I guess. It’s just that I find myself more naturally attracted to girls rather than guys. I-it’s just experimenting! Everyone does it…right?” Kyou sounded a little uncertain, then shook her head vigorously. “T-there’s noone in particular!” she denied, a little to loudly. “Girls are just…prettier?” she blushed and her eyes darted around nervously. “I-I mean, guys are all brusque and mean and everything, and they don’t have that…aura around them.”
“Hmm…” Tomoyo tilted her head and stared at Kyou, interested in how she was acting. “I can understand that since guys don’t really care much about their looks. Or at least the don’t try as hard to keep their hair the right way and little things like that.” She poked Kyou in the side with the tip of her shoe, playfully. “Hey, do you think your sister thinks about things like this?” It was hard to imagine Ryou liking women since she was quite hung up on Okazaki.
"Ryou? Pfft, she's completely head over heels for Tomoy- Ah." She blinked, realising what she was just about to say. "I-I mean, no. She hasn't had these sort of thoughts. Like, sometimes when we take a bath together, there are things that happen...But we're twins, y'know? It's not sexual or anything." Wait, why the hell am I trying to justify myself to her? Kyou thought to herself, confused.
Kyou and Tomoya (papa-dango starter)
Tomoya smiled. He did agree with her calling Sunohara a loser, but at the same time he felt like he had to defend him, he was his best friend after all. “Hey, that loser is all I need for a friend. We do the same things and he never questions what we should do. Besides, it’s too much of a bother to have too many friends. You have to do things for everyone and if they have plans, they might conflict with each of them and…” Tomoya sighed, “It’s really just a bother. So…” He stretched his arms in the air and yawned. “…he’s not that bad, sometimes.”
Tomoya tilted his head slightly in curiosity, and blinked. “You mean Tomoyo? She’s a rival? How could she be? Unless…” Tomoya smirked. “Unless you think she’s stronger than you, than I don’t know how else she can be a rival. Kyou is scared of the new girl, who knew.”
The drama club was brought up, which made him blush a little bit, he didn’t want anyone to know he sort of enjoyed helping Nagisa set it up. “It’s not like I want to join her! I’m just…doing it because I’m bored, that’s all.” He looked at the ground momentarily and looked back up to watch Kyou leave.
“We’re not perverts…and wait for me, I’m starving.” Tomoya quickly walked up to catch up by her side, his hands in his pockets. “What are we having for lunch, again?”
"You do the same things as the biggest loser in the school, but he's your lackey of sorts. So I guess that means you're not the lamest guy in school. You're the second lamest," Kyou said teasingly. "Oh my, what will people say when they see us together? The girl in the school with the most friends hanging out with the the guy in the school with one friend. It's like something straight out of a shounen romantic comedy manga," she said, smirking.
Kyou snorted. "Of course I'm not scared of that new girl. All she did was beat up some motorcyclist gang who were causing trouble in school. I could totally do that too." Realistically though, I don't think I can beat her. Her movements were too fast for even me to see. But Tomoya doesn't need to know that, does he? As far as he's concerned, Kyou Fujibayashi is not scared of anything.
"Suuuure you are~" Kyou said, rolling her eyes. "And you're gonna have whatever I buy you," she added, fully intending to buy him the cheapest thing on the menu.
“Mage?” Kyou waved her hands around vaguely. “Like magic and everything? Can you pull a rabbit out of a hat?” She blinked, ignorant of the fact that Ultear was a real mage, not a cheap wizard with tricks.
Kyou critically appraised her in her robes, and nodded in approval. “They sure do. But I must ask, what kind of job lets you wear such revealing clothing?”
“Yes a mage.” She repeated. She laughed on how shallow her thinking on mages was. “Well, I can do better than pulling a rabbit out of a hat.” She finds a withered flower and brings it back to life with her time arc. She looked at the other person and explained her outfit. “These robes I wore back when I was in the magic council. It’s really hard to explain but that’s all I can say.”
"Woah!" Kyou exclaimed, eyes wide open as the flower turned back in time. "That's awesome! So you can manipulate time or something, huh?" She tilted her head to one side. "Well, in my world, the council was always made of up of the most powerful people, whether that was financially or intellectually. But if you were on the magic council, it must mean that your magic power level or whatever you call it here is really impressive, huh?"

The next morning, Alberio rose up at the crack of dawn. The sunlight barely making its way through the slits of the wood that barricaded the window. Carefully, he made his way out of the bed, and across the room. There was a deep and mournful sound coming from outside of his hut, as well as the sound of iron scraping against stone. “Damn…Ghouls.” He began quickly equipping his armor, the leather and chainmail combo making a slight sound as he did so.
Rushing back over to the young woman, he jolted her awake, and placed his hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming, “I am sorry, but I need to you stay calm and quiet.” Alberio pointed to a wardrobe against the back wall, “Over there is a set of leather armor. It is not much, but I need you to put it on, post haste.”
Drawing his sword, Alberio stood near the doorway, ready to take on whatever ghoul discovered how to enter.
Kyou groaned and stretched, getting up slowly. Then, realising how little she was wearing and how revealing the stretch was, she hurriedly covered herself up and blushed. However, Alberio seemed to be completely focused on the door, so he didn't appear to notice - or at least, Kyou hoped he hadn't.
She got out of the bed, gingerly testing her feet to check that she had enough strength to walk now. She quietly headed over to the wardrobe - a harder task than it looked, as she wasn't used to doing anything quietly - and put on the armour, uncomfortably aware about how little she had underneath with her school uniform almost in tatters from the days she had been out in the desert. After making sure that it was all on properly, although it was a bit big for her, she crept over to where Alberio was standing.
"What's wrong? What's happening?" she whispered.

“Ibarazaki-kun, huh?” Kyou rolled her eyes and dropped the formality. “Screw it, I’ll just call you Emi. Formalities are stupid anyway. Imagine how far conversations could get if humans weren’t just trying to be polite to each other all the time?”
She headed through the row of beautiful cherry blossoms, looking up at them as they passed beneath the trees. “These cherry blossoms are the pride of our town,” Kyou said, gesturing at them. “But they may be taken down. Doesn’t mean we ain’t gonna put up one hell of a fight to protect them though.”
Emi glanced at them in awe, their beauty striking her as she looked up at them. “They’re beautiful” she said as she smiled like a small child at them.
“Why would someone ever take them down?”
"They sure are," Kyou said, also looking appreciatively up at the sakura. Their beauty never failed to impress her, especially when they bloomed. Even in winter, when they were covered in snow, they had a striking beauty about them.
Kyou sighed. "They want to build a new road along here or something like that. I don't really care why they want to take it down." She clenched her fist. "I just know that I want to protect them."
Kyou goes to Tokyo
Kyou was naturally a high-energy person, so the slow pace that Kururi was keeping was infuriating to her. But she had already learnt the hard way that just rushing about the way she usually did would more often than not run her into someone in such a busy city, so she kept her impatience in check and followed Kururi, fuming on the inside every time someone bumped into her.
Kyou didn’t notice Kururi sounding emotionless. If she did, she didn’t mention it at all. “School trip,” Kyou said in a bored tone, as though a school trip was the last thing she wanted to go on. “I didn’t know it was gonna be in Tokyo though. If I did, I would’ve kept a closer eye on Ryou. That girl’s sense of direction is worse than mine.”
“Ah.” she spoke in recognition. Even though she never attended school, because of Mairu insisting she never had much of a choice - she really never enjoyed them, nonetheless. She continued, pace a saunter, not wanting to lose the girl behind her too badly just yet.
Recalling that she’d mentioned Ryou looking like her but with a different hair style, she found herself speaking a question: “Is Ryou your sister?” her interest sounded strained, if it was even there at all - it depends on how one was to hear her words. Her hands found their way back into her cat-eared hoodie, frowning smally away from Kyou.
"Ah, yes!" Kyou said, picking up on the question as she eagerly continued to try and make conversation, completely disregarding the other girl's apparent lack of interest. "Ryou is my twin sister, actually, but she acts more like a younger sister. We look exactly the same, except she's got shorter hair and blue eyes." She gestured at her long hair and her own violet eyes. "Oh! And she wears her ribbon on the other side!" she added, pointing at the ribbon in her hair.
She easily kept up pace with Kururi, humming to herself. "Oh, do you have any siblings?" she asked casually, trying to keep up conversation.

“Of course,” Kyou said lazily, resting her chin on her hand as she glanced at Tomoyo. “I mean, look at ya, Miss Student Prez. If I were a guy, I’d be afraid to approach you too.” She grinned. “Although if I did, it probably would’ve been to pick a fight. I do believe that me being a guy would only fuel my tendencies towards violence to whole new levels.” She nodded in agreement. “Yup, I listen to what the civilians say, president. The boys don’t approach you cause you’re out of their league, and some girls don’t cause you’re too perfect.” She pointed a finger at Tomoyo. “You never screw up. Not publicly, at least. That’s why everyone sees you as perfect. Unlike me. I’m just ‘that violent twin’.”
Kyou shrugged. “Yeah, I prefer girls over guys. They’re funner to hang out with, they don’t ask stupid questions, and they don’t want to get in your panties all the ti-” Kyou’s mouth gaped open as the second part of Tomoyo’s question processed through her mind. “B-b-b-bi?” The blush was back now. “O-of course not! I’m only interested in bo-” She stopped, and sighed, regaining her composure. She turned her head to one side slightly, the blush deepening. “Y-yeah, I guess I have,” she muttered.
“Oh?” Tomoyo was quite interested to press this matter farther. “What exactly have you thought about?” She jumped up onto the table, sitting on the edge of it near Kyou. “Is there anyone in particular that’s attracted you or do you just like girls because they’re nicer and less hormone driven?” Tomoyo swung her legs back and forth under the table as she tilted her head, waiting for an answer.
It was really the first time she’d had a girl to talk to about anything personal so she wanted to get all she could from it. She knew Kyou would be a little embarrassed about things but it seemed like she was willing to open up. Maybe I shouldn’t push her too hard… that might make her clam up…

Kyou meets Acchan
“Alright,” Kyou agreed brightly, though she was hoping it wouldn’t go so easily. That way, I get to spend more time with he- WAIT A SECOND KYOU, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING? Kyou shook her head to clear her mind of such thoughts.
“Well, first though…” Kyou looked Acchan over critically. “We might want to get you a disguise or something. You’re pretty well known, you know? Being a former regular senbatsu member and centre of AKB and all. People may not be so inclined to answer a known detective either. Especially not the purse snatcher.”
“Y-Your right!!” Acchan exclaimed. “What would be a good disguise for me though? Um… Maybe that dog costume…?”
Kyou outright laughed at Acchan’s comment. “Dog costume? Acchan, in a dog costume? Man, that would be a sight to see.” She doubled over, laughing. Slowly regaining her composure by drawing several deep breaths, she stood up straight again, and shook her head, grinning.
“No, you won’t need something like that. All you’ll need is some casual clothes, and a change in hairstyle.” Kyou stared at Acchan’s hair. “That fringe of your’s is pretty famous, y’know.”
“Y-Yeah… but my hair’s grown out!!”
"Stiiiill~" Kyou said, pondering it. "Well, we won't need to cover it up or anything. Since you made that fringe famous, there are a lot of people who wear their hair like that. You can just pretend you're another Acchan fan." Kyou grinned a little at that. Acchan, pretending to be her own fan. This is priceless.

“I probably should warn you before we get all the way uphill… Occasionally some of the younger members tend to bicker sometimes and it gets well… heated. So if a fight breaks out for some reason, I suggest you get out of there immediately and wait until the dust clears, got that?”
Kyou held up a fist. “Don’t worry, I can hold my own in a fig-” She stopped, realising. “Ah right, this is a mage’s fight, isn’t it? An ordinary girl like myself won’t stand a chance.” She grinned, putting her fist down. “Alright, I’ll get out of the way. But if someone gets in front of me while I’m trying to get out of the way, I can’t guarantee that I won’t let fly a few kicks or punches. Natural instinct, y’know.”
“I can understand the reaction, but please try not to get dragged into it, okay? Their idiotic scuffles can last for hours sometimes if nobody cuts it short and everybody gets pretty bruised up and beaten by then.”

Kyou’s eyebrow arched up, then she grinned. For some reason, she felt immediately as though she could get along with this girl. The lack of formality on the other end also went completely unnoticed on Kyou’s end - she was so used to speaking to people informally straight off the bat, she didn’t really notice whether they were speaking politely back or not. But this girl also felt strong…and it wasn’t usually that Kyou felt that, apart from the overwhelming aura she got from Tomoyo. Is she foreign? Kyou thought, appraising Yuri. No…Half, possibly?
“Hey back at ya, Yuri. Yeah, the locals here are pretty tight-knit, so I knew immediately that you weren’t someone from around here.” She gestured at Yuri’s headband. “And you’re not some from the karate or judo club, obviously. I’d have seen you around if you were.” After all, I’ve handed their asses to all of the members at some stage, a little voice inside her whispered, but she ignored it. “I’m Fujibayashi Kyou, but just call me Kyou,” she said, winking.
A chipper laugh left her in response, the brunette likely expecting as much. Occasionally her ego would delude her with the idea that everybody’d manage to zero in on her. After all, wasn’t that all in the life of a celebrity? Perhaps, perhaps — in her wildest dreams, that was. Although she had yet to be recognized for her feats as a tourney participant, pride began to stir as Kyou’d pointed out her attire.
“Smart thinking! Like, I’m way too old to be in high school anymore. Totally unbelievable, I know.” More like a stretch, since she’d only graduated a few years back. The radiance to her features remained that of a schoolgirl’s, the cheesy grin to her lips still of a kindergartner’s. Next thing she knew, Yuri found herself wondering how old the other was — if she was enjoying her school days just as much. “Kyou, eh? Alright, I got it~ So, umm… y’know where I’m at, exactly? It’s not that I’m lost or anything! But directions and junk would be pretty handy. I was trying to find something cool to do, but now I’m just hungry.”
Kyou grinned. "Really? I was under the assumption that you were still in high school," she blurted out, with no intention of worrying about the consequences. "I mean, you've got that..." Kyou paused and appraised the other girl, looking her up and down. "...high school girl look." She leaned in closer. "Especially the face. That's the face of a young girl."
She skipped back and smirked mischievously. "You're in Hikarizaka, by the way. If you're looking for something cool to do, there's not much here for that. But if you're looking for food, you're in the right place! Come on, let's go!" Kyou headed down the road from the school, not bothering to look back to see if Yuri was following her.

Okay, so I'll pretty much be on a semi-hiatus for the next 3 or 4 weeks, until the semester ends. >.< I will reply to threads when I have time to, I've got all of them drafted. Tomoyo knew that boys were definitely like she had described but there were still a few good ones mixed in there. If Sunohara weren’t such an idiot then… no, he’ll always be a good for nothing… I think. Still, he has a strong will and will keep at something so maybe he’ll end up okay… So far the notable ones she had met were just Tomoya and Sunohara and maybe a few people in the student council. Most of the other boys did seem pretty hormone driven, especially when she caught them looking at her.
“You think I’m completely out of their league?” Tomoyo placed a hand against her chin to think about this for a moment. So I have everything then? There are too many good points to me so people compare themselves to me and figure their faults would make me reject them. “That… actually makes a lot of sense…” Tomoyo smiled slightly at Kyou. “Thank you for that… it makes me feel a bit better…”
“I don’t mean to try and tease you or anything but… the way you talk about boys and girls…” She paused for a moment to gather the correct words. “I do believe you seem to favour girls over boys, Okazaki excluded of course. You have a lot nicer things to say about girls so have you ever given it thought? Being bi I mean.”

Kyou followed, staying silent as she tried to figure Ultear out. But thinking was never one of her strong traits - she preferred thinking with her fists rather than her mind. Fortunately, she wasn’t the type who would let an awkward silence last for long though, as she was almost constantly noisy around her friends.
“So, Ultear. What do you do here, in Magnolia?” Kyou asked, appraising her, taking in the strange clothing. “And why are you in robes and everything?”
She sighed. No matter how irritating strange the question was, Ultear was glad that she could at least talk to the person she’s with. “Well, I’m—I’m a mage here.” She looks at the other person slightly then turns into her old magic council dress which she really loved. “I don’t usually wear this robe, this was from my job before, But I really think it suits me.” She answered truthfully.
