What video game do you most regret not finishing?
Feed your dashboard by answering my question, blogger.
I most regret not finishing Outer Wilds, it's really good I just ended up having to put it down at one point and it's tough to pick back up after a break. Additionally Library of Runia & Silksong are both up there too. I'm in the endgames of all 3, I just need to lock in and finish them off.
Thanks for the ask!
Fibonacci: Hmm... I sure wish there was a way to mathematically represent an empty quantity.
The simple yet useful Arabic numeral:
One thing I love about studying math is that when you ask any fellow student or prof why they went into math we all say it’s because we find it beautiful. It’s so diametrically opposed to the opinion that everyone else has about math that it feels like some kind of virus that infects you and makes you unable to study anything else
I study math because there is some sort of gremlin in my brain addicted to the clacking sound two Numbers make when they smack against each other
Trade secrets mathematicians don't want you to know: it's all actually just linear algebra
*sighs in relief*
That's very good news.
this is a stretch even for me, but I respect it

Because healthcare is a human right.
And trans people, are people.
can you let me in pleeeeeaase. i promise i wont use my raptorial limbs to attack and kill you

Joy and whimsy… questionable? This post may or may not be joyful and whimsical.
btw a computer science major is just a math major with an identity crisis
It's also a less hot topic. Math is hotter than CS can ever be. CS dilutes the beauty.
clearly you have never programmed in haskell
Haskell is beautiful. Especially since they finally added dependant types.
... but still not as beautiful as math.
she didn’t want to take over the mathematician’s jobs. she is so kind to mathematicians and this is how you betray her?
I didn't betray her! She's beautiful. She's so, so, so beautiful. But I think that because looks a lot like her sister, mathematics, and it's mathematics that I'm in a deep and committed relationship with.
would you call a painting a lesser imitation because it's not a perfect recreation of your beloved? of course Haskell can't perfectly recreate math, she is not meant to be a recreation but rather a beautiful oil painting created with hands that adore math and attempt to convey that beauty through circuits and logic gates. she allows you to appreciate math in new ways, and while you can certainly prefer your beloved to her portrait, that does not make Haskell less beautiful. why pit women against each other? have we not learned from Eris and the golden apple?
I called Haskell my beloved's sister. Not her portrait. She's not an object. And it's the sworn duty of someone in love to declare everyone else not as beautiful.
If I may put in my own 2p:
WE TAUGHT A ROCK MATH. A FUCKING ROCK. HOW IS THAT NOT THE COOLEST SHIT YOU'VE EVER SEEN
If I may put in my own ∞p:
AND I TAUGHT THE FABRIC OF REALITY MATHS. THE BASIS OF YOUR VERY EXISTENCE. HOW IS THAT NOT COOLER
I... Thought you were the very fabric of reality?
I created it using a part of me, so yes, I am :3
Then later I invented calculus and differential equations, and figured they would be more fun to be used by the fabric of reality :3
So I taught it my new ideas :3

undiagnosed autistic people will be like "I don't get upset when my routine changes though!!" and it's because they've built a set of if-then loops in their head to pick from one of 6 different strict routines and they do get incredibly upset when they're unable to keep to any of the 6 scripts. I'm john normal
The stereotype of the nerd girl taking her glasses off and suddenly she's beautiful, but in reverse. A cold tough mean office lady who glares at everyone until she gets glasses and suddenly becomes sweet, approachable and friendly since she no longer has a constant headache over not being able to fucking see, doesn't need to squint at everything, and actually remembers individual people by name now that she can tell them apart at all.
