What are your thoughts on the recent scandal with the Anderson teens? Do you think it will come crashing down? What are your thoughts on how sick the texts were??
I am utterly heartbroken for the girls who have endured only god knows what and likely made to feel the shame of it or told that they were to blame for tempting the boys. I sincerely hope they receive the help they will need in the coming months. I wish I could say I was shocked but honestly, it was only a matter of time. I am utterly disgusted and was only able to read a few of the screenshots before I had to stop but I imagine it was more of the same or worse. Like all cults, it will come crashing down eventually, I just hope it is before more innocent children and teens get hurt. YouTube already deleted every single one of his channels but his churches Facebook is still up so reporting it might be worth a go. I also sincerely hope that it does end up in the national news so that no one will ever want to associate with any of them again. I also worry for Anderson’s daughters, if their brothers are saying these violent things. It also very clearly explains why the wedding fell through. This is the problem with these insular cults, its too easy for evil and horrible things to be swept under the rug and for abuse to fester. I imagine in the coming weeks more and more people will come forward likely from multiple churches in his group. I would be shocked if this was an isolated event. I sincerely hope that Anderson himself is prosecuted to the fullest extent he can be. I hope they throw the book at him. It was his job as a parent and as a pastor to prevent this kind of thing and he failed not only those girls but his entire church and his daughters. I’m not entirely sure, as I couldn't stomach reading all of the screenshots, if their is proof of actual abuse taking place or if it was all just those horrible texts but I hope that if they are able to the boys get arrested and prosecuted too.
