Guess I'll go ahead and make a pinned post to explain that, yes, I make concerning textposts about my wellbeing and living situation. This is a coping mechanism. I do have a diary, but sometimes keeping things to myself feels worse. Posting about feeling bad helps me feel less bad, surprisingly. Finally catching up on Deltarune chapters so I can play the latest one and I KNOW this will be controversial but Queen deserves all the Tumblr sexyman fanart that Tenna is getting. Tenna is OK he's fun but Queen coming before him and setting the stage for similar aspects of Tenna's level design just made me miss her so baddddd I know that Tenna is #gaydivorced and is an object head man in a suit and has abandonment issues and ppl love a sopping wet sad man but have you seen Queen. Have you looked at her in her giant robot form also. Have you considered how draw-able she is. Are you all fools. Must I do everuthing myself

Susie is a fantastic character for a million reasons but another one is that most portrayals of eating disorders are a skinny fem girl worried she isn't pretty enough or less often some autistic twink that lives off of coffee. Susie very obviously has pica and likely heavy food insecurity from poverty/neglect and we see it often whenever she interacts with food. She is also an awesome baddass butch lesbian who learns the power of friendship. You don't see characters like that with eating disorders very often and it's great representation

I have so many problems with the this design so here’s a few

1.) WHY DID THEY WHITEWASH BLUE???????

He’s one of the most explicitly black coded characters in the game and they just ???? Made him the same color as aqua???? Also there is a difference from his outfit and skin so they are changing their color palette but they can’t change it enough to make it accurate? And even disregarding the fact that blue is one of the few explicit black (coded) characters we have in Deltarune, it’s just sorta bad design???? Like there’s no contrast??? He lwk just looks like a blue blob from a distance??? Which shouldn’t you be trying to avoid especially on a shirt? And honestly I have this issue with aqua, Seth, and green as well but blue is the worst one in this case.

He also doesn’t have basically ANY of the defining features we see in his talking sprite most notably his defined lips.. they do draw one line but that’s a far cry from what they could and should have done.

Now less pressing details I have an issue with…

2.) WHY IS ORANGE YELLOW??? You already have an orange and a pink in your design why make her yellow?????

And it’s not even so you could tell the characters apart, yellow (the character) has the EXACT SAME color pallet. They somehow made a character named orange NOT ORANGE???? And they don’t even use the pink in the character designs???

3.) now this one is a little nitpick-y but where is aquas red?

It’s arguably her second main color and they just ditched it… and you know her red helps with? Her contrast and definability 😱😱 aka the stuff you sorta need on a shirt!!

And honestly that’s abt it…(plus there’s no flowery but they have his flower there??which if you know me you already know how I feel abt that) this is overall a bad design with some racist undertones.. I’m not sure HOW this design got through but I’m hoping they will fix it. It’s a cute concept just executed very poorly.

It's almost laughable what the internet and very young queer people have done to the words butch and especially femme. I think I could go on for hours and hours on how important that little yet huge letter "e" is at the end of the word. People have turned this special term into something so superficial and tedious. To them "femme" simply means hyperfeminine. It's sweet, pink, docile, delicate, soft, submissive. Which of course, certain femmes actually do identity with those words but little do these people know or understand is that to be femme is to be just as hard and aggressive as what they see being butch is. It's in gesture, in stature, in autonomy, in courage, in love that is so deep and true for other butches and fellow femme sisters. Femme is something inherently erotic and so sensual. Our history literally shows that femmes used their physical privilege to protect and stand up for butches, femmes were the ones who would go out and work due to the fact that people would not hire such masculine presenting women. In conclusion, to be femme is to be beautiful and lovely but it's also to use your fucking voice and know who and what came before us.
