Gaslight

You let me cry, As you tear off shreds. Why do I try? Can't revive the dead. So tighten up The tourniquet And hit me till Until I break. I Still Think About You

We’d sit together

Watching all your

Comic book heroes

It was our favourite way

To spend a

Sunday afternoon.

You’d have your arms wrapped

Tightly round me

And I’d rest my head upon your heart.

We could have stayed that way forever

But you were taken from me

Taken from me far too soon.

  I still think about you all the time

And I still feel your hand on mine.

You left a shadow on my soul

And I’m still trying to make it whole.

Why did you have to leave?

In this curious and messed up world.

Twist of Fate

I’m ready so take your aim Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Do you dare the beast to tame, No more captive or restrained. In your soul I lay to rest Feel the warmth from naked flesh. Draw your mark across my chest Wipe the slate and start afresh. Falling but in you I trust Veins...

Dreams woven with sunrise And love drenched lips. She was Summer.

The edge of nowhere... Let the fog creep inside, distorting focus and blurring lines. Let it permeate within, abuse your heart and get under your skin.

Undo all these chains, See what still remains. Let go of all this pain So I can breathe again. It's been a long winter, It froze me to the bone. The world was bleak and barren And I faced it all alone. You may have been a part of me But you don't define me. You stole my life, You killed the lights. Now I'm stronger than I've ever been. Watch me breaking free. For too long I've been entombed, Now there's light breaking through the gloom. Music began to hold a tune And the night got back it's moon. I can see the summer coming And the clouds begin to part. The future's what I make it, It's a brand new start. You may have been a part of me But you don't define me.
