Derek has glow squid qualities! He’s still a land creature, so I kept the glow squid features to the bare minimum. Mostly because I didn’t want to have to make up a reason as to why he spends so much time on land as an aquatic creature, if I were to make him one. I really love the avian headcanon too, so I payed homage to that by spamming birds all over his armor lol.

As for Avery, there’s not much to say about him haha. He’s sturdy!! And he’s got blocky-ish hair bc, well, slimes are cubes. If you’re curious, Der is 6’2/188cm, and Aves is 5’9/175cm.
