I saw some other folks mention that they were listening to Fjord’s playlist after last nights ep, so I decided to do the same.

Do not listen to that song and imagine last nights fight! Do not imagine Fjord desperately trying to get to his friends and them trying to get to him! Don’t do it!

Caleb’s counterspell to stop that fish monster from taking Fjords body feels similar to Keyleth touching the death orb under white stone and rolling a Nat 20 to me.

If either of those rolls went poorly that would have been the end of those characters for us. An end we probably wouldn’t have any insight to. No resurrection. Nothing. And I think that possible outcome for both will haunt me forever.
