Ben Affleck & Chris Messina on the set of “Live By Night”, Jan. 26, 2016.
It’s this great little film. Chris Messina is awesome. He’s amazing. I’ve always wanted to work with him and he and I kind of became friendly a year and-a-half ago. I was cast in this movie, and the producers and director went to him with it. He’s one of the greatest actors I’ve ever worked with. He’s so awesome. It’s like this dark romantic comedy about two people that meet in Chicago and decide to go on a road trip to throw themselves off the Golden Gate Bridge together.

Took some time but I found another photo from “The Hologram Theory.”
Chris Messina in Tamicanfly
‘St. Scarlet’’ is enhanced by a production – directed by Chris Messina, a good young actor currently appearing on Broadway in “Salome: the Reading” – focused on making the play as good as it can be… …The night I saw “St. Scarlet” the small theater was full, the audience mostly young and salted with actors I recognized from other downtown shows. They contributed to the feeling in the house that the enterprise of putting on a play is a worthy one, both joyful and serious. The energy and sincerity of aspiring artists filled the room, and it was infectious.
