I am so, so very sorry it took so long! I’m rubbish at anything romantic, really, and had to go back and change all my ‘snog’ to ‘kiss’ halfway through the story because I don’t like using the same word too many times, despairing when I realised there really weren’t many synonyms to be used for that word. Unless I wanted to delve into purple prose (oh dear god no), then this was going to get more than a little repetitive. I also spent a very long time squinting at everything because it didn’t feel like I was putting things down correctly and ‘cause I wrote a good portion of this on my phone and it’s been doing weird auto-correct for me.

I have a variety of RL excuses, but those are boring, so I’m just going to write as much as I can to make up for the past few days!
