Stay Gold-Utada Hikaru (via tagreader)
She’s so pretty. I wish her English music would’ve become more popular but I guess it’s her fault since she decided not to release a second single from TITO. D:<
"Final Distance" (2001) - Utada Hikaru
Originally released as “Distance” on Utada’s second album of the same name, the singer-songwriter later re-arranged it into a ballad and retitled the song in honour of the late six-year-old Yamashita Rena who was one of eight slain in the Osaka school massacre in 2001. Yamashita had once won an essay competition where she wrote about her aspiration to grow up to be like the singer. Its accompanying music video, filled with beautiful but dark imagery, was directed by Kiriya Kazuaki.
