I see what you did there, Marvel Adventures.
Anybody else got a plan?!
I have one. But we need thirty thousand strips of bacon.
Now, may I ask my fellow storm-bringer to free the rest of my comrades?
I would be happy to.
(Marvel Adventures: Avengers #13)
Marvel Adventures: Avengers #14 has the Avengers coming to the aid of a “pocket dimension” of farming villagers who come under an annual attack from a pillaging army. Rather than simply fight the invading army off point-blank, they decide to help the villagers help themselves by teaching them how to fight so that they can defend themselves in the future.
Dang. I did not mean that as a pun.

Marvel Adventures: The Avengers [1/6] ↳ Intro Post
I am here to tell you guys all about the best comic universe ever, the Marvel Adventures universe. (Alas, for me, it is the only comic universe, because it’s the only place I am ever happy all the time. For those of you who don’t know me, I require happy fluffy fun times, exactly 100% of the time.)
Anyway, these lovely little comics are of absolutely no relation to the main Marvel continuity (616), or any of it’s other universes. And, added bonus, every issue features a new story to tell without having to read any previous issues. This is awesome because you can literally pick up (or in a digital situation, open up) any issue and read without any knowledge of any other comic universes or arcs, any previous comics within the universe, and even without previous knowledge of the characters involved. Originally created by Jeff Parker and Manuel Garcia, this “series” reached a total of 39 comics (and went through a fair few writers and artists) before it was cancelled in 2009.
If you’re wondering why it doesn’t connect to the main universe in any way, that’s because it was, quite literally, targeted to the younger fans (kids) of Marvel. That’s also why it is the best. Seriously, sick of Marvel fucking with your heart? Take a break and read a couple issues. Having a bad day? No problem, just kick back and read to get your mind off things. Just plain bored? These’ll help with that, too!
Stay tuned for more information on heroes and villians seen, twelve photosets of some of the greatest moments, a post on MA:A ships and BROTP’s, a few “easter egg” photosets, and a wrap-up post with download links!
Marvel Adventures: The Avengers [6/6] ↳ Closing Argument/Outro
That appears to be it, for me! Overall… I’d give this series a 10000/10 on readability, new reader friendly, amazingness, etc. Basically, read it, it’s the best thing ever. If all the great moments and ships post and character appearances didn’t sway you, I don’t really know what will at this point! Except maybe…. a link to download them all? Say whaaat?
Yessss, if you’re interested in reading these bad boys from cover to cover, I’ve found [credit is NOT mine, it’s listed on the download, major props to that person] a list of links to download ‘em all and get you readin’! Just scroll down a little bit on the page, you’ll see ‘em right there.
I guess here is where I’ll link to the nifty other posts I made! So if you don’t wanna reblog them all, you can reblog this for a complete package kinda thing. Thanks for watching!
