I know we've all talked about all the parallels between vsmp members, but I need to talk about the possible parallel between Pyro and Scott, specifically how they view being turned.
We all know how Pyro was turned, non-consentually and violently and filled with fear and betrayal. But we also know that later on, not only does he embrace being a vampire, he starts talking about how being turned was a gift and how he wanted it. They basically starts to block out/ignore/forget the trauma of being turned and only remembers/talks about the good and how he likes being a vampire.
In contrast, Scott does claim that he paid a vampire to turn him (and therefore, his turning would have been consentual and likely wouldn't have hurt much if at all) but we also know that v!Scott (and other Scott characters in general) is manipulative. Specifically, while he's extremely manipulative to others, based on other Scott characters, he is likely also extremely manipulative to himself. He very well could have had a terrible and/or traumatizing turning that he didn't want. If he did, he would have twisted it to himself in his own mind to protect himself. After all, it's easier to accept things if you think you chose it. And especially with how long he's been a vampire, he likely has a lot of gaps in his memory or remembers things differently than they happened.
Basically, it's very possible that Pyro and Scott both embraced vampirism and started remembering their turnings as something they wanted in order to save themselves, their psyche, and retain the thought they they were in control, that they wanted it. And, it would also mean that the way Pyro spiraled so fast could have also been something Scott did early on. Plus, it could mean Scott didn't like Pyro very much because he subconsciously saw his younger self, a version of him he doesn't want or care about anymore, in them.
