I have more writing over here, on my Wattpad! I do have writer's block fairly often, so don't expect many updates on fics there. But, I will try to write on those stories more often!!

To a homophobe, even the most chaste kiss on the cheek between gay people is exactly as disgusting and degenerate as a hardcore BDSM orgy hosted in the town square, so you may as well ally with the BDSM orgy enthusiasts to throw bricks at the cops who are going to try and arrest all of you together anyway.
on my rider coroika has a f u cking range bullshit again
picture this.
Rider's just doing chores, and he's singing Candy Store or some shit and he just HITS that rift Goggles hears and he's just. Impressed!!!
like, okay.
lil one shot.
under the cut. gorai is there. so uh. yeee

Goggles' eyes were wide. "Woah!!! Rider, you're really good!"
Rider shrugged. Honestly, he wasn't even trying. "Eh, I could do better."
"Aww, stop getting down on yourself!" Goggles hugged Rider, tightly. "That was amazing!"
"No, Gogs, I literally can hit more impressive notes. And rifts." Rider said. "Candy Store? Psh, I played Heather Chandler in High School. Now, Pippin..." He grinned. "Played the leading player on Broadway. Sang the parts in the soprano octave, not to brag. Those rifts were high as hell."
"Can I hear?!" Goggles asked, excitedly
Rider chuckled. "Well, gimme a sec. I still have that costume somewhere, I think. I could give 'ya a real show, if you wanted."
"I want!! Pleeeeease?"
"Like I said, gimme a sec."
----
The two had gone to a local ampetheater, on a day when no one really went to the park around it.
Rider had on a long coat, hiding the black costume underneath. Goggles sat in one of the seats near the stage. "I wanna see!!"
"Alright, alright. Hold your horses there, Gogs." Rider chuckled. He grabbed the small speaker he brought and set it down, connecting his phone and selecting the music. "Try not to leave your jaw open, you might catch flies." He smiled, and with a wink, added "darling~"
Goggles blushed as the music played.
"Battles, Barbarous and bloody~" Rider sang, his voice low and almost seductive. As the music began in earnest, he tossed off his coat. He wore a sleeveless black vest and a black corset with gold lacing over it. Skintight leggings with gold stripes on the sides, and high heeled boots.
Rider grinned, belting his notes out. "Glory, Glooory! Glory, GLOOORYY!"
He pulled a staff out of seemingly nowhere. "Praise be to Charles our lord, triumphant is his sword," Rider's hand went over his heart, and he raised his staff like a sword. "Allegiance, is his word!"
He stomped, going back to his belting. "Glory, Glooory!" He took a huge breath. "Glory, GLOOOOOOORYYYY!"
Goggles clapped, silently doing his happy flappies as Rider continued to sing.
"Blood!" Rider splayed his hands, stepping forward a bit. "Blood! Yes, indeedy!"
"Blood, is red as sunset. Blood, is warmer than wine." He moved his hips, in a lowkey sexy way, Goggles thought. "Warmer than wine."
Rider slowly walked forward, his staff over his shoulder. "The taste of salty, summer, brii~ine!" He did the hip motion again, grinning at Goggles' blue face.
"Steel!" Rider shouted, flipping his staff to the other hand, now wielding it like a sword.
"Steel!" Goggles shouted back, kicking his feet and watching intensely.
"Steel, is cold as moonlight. Steel, is sharper than sight." Rider did a little twirl to the small jingle. "Sharper than sight. The touch of bitter, winter whiiiite!"
He grabbed the other end of the staff with his free hand, raising it above his head as he spun around the stage. When he got upstage center, he let out a battle cry. "RAAARGE!"
Rider's voice got light and airy, and he sang in an absurdly high range. "Shout it out! From the highest tower!" He raised his staff upright, bobbing it up and down to the beat. "Shout it out! In the darkest hour!"
He spun around, not stumbling at all, despite his heels. "Charlemagne! You lead us on to power!"
Rider pointed his staff stage left. "War!" He shouted, and then pointed it the other way, crouching down low. "War!"
He got up, once again slowly walking forward. "War, is strict as Jesus. War, is finer than spring." He grinned, kicking up his staff so it rested on his shoulder.
"Service to Christ and to our kiiii~ing!" Rider raised up his staff, twirling it around in his hands.
"Shout it out! From the highest tower! Shout it out! In the darkest hour!"
Goggles couldn't help but sing along with the final bit. "Charlemagne! You lead us on to power!!"
Rider raised up his hands, and did a bow, turning off the music before it got to the Manson Trio part. Goggles clapped.
"Wow!! Rider, that was amazing!!"
"I'm glad you like it." Rider said. "Yknow... we have time, could do another song?"
Goggles nodded. Rider smiled, and turned on a different song, starting to sing again.
"Join us, leave your fields to flower. Join us, leave your cheese to sour. Join us! Come and waste an hour or two.. Doodle-lee, do!"

"NO!-" Avi cried. He reached out, trying to pull Skull back to safety.
Skull just ran into the battlefield, sword drawn. It felt unnatural in his hands. He was an archer, not a swordfighter. But he had no choice- he had to defend his family
He drove his sword through the chest of the haunt, tearing it out and then facing the giant Drauven.
"THUVAYN!" Skull called. "I'm who you want! Leave Army alone!"
The warlord turned to face Skull, snarling and not speaking a word. He ran from Army, sword drawn and ready to fight Skull. The hunter gripped his sword, his face as calm as ever.
Thuvayn slashed his sword at Skull. He just managed to block it- the blade grazed his shoulder. Which meant there was a large gash. Skull mustered as much strength as he could and forced the blade away, only for Thuvayn to strike Skull's leg, slicing it clean off. He screamed, and as the Drauven raised his sword, Avi raced over with his shield, bashing the sword into its chin. "Army, now!"
Army took a deep breath, before summoning a tower of flame, burning the warlord to a crisp. Avi sighed in relief, before clutching onto Skull.
"No.." He whispered. "Nonononono... Please.." A sob wracked through him. "Skull- stay with me..."
Skull reached his undamaged arm up. "A-Avi..."
Avi took his hand, kissing the back of it. "I'm here. I'm here, Skull. Don't close your eyes, please- We'll get you to Prince and xe can heal you. Stay with me..."
"...I-I've never felt at h-home, before." Skull started. "B-but, I think I a-am now..."
"Keep talking, stay awake...please..." Avi pleaded.
Army ran up, staff gripped in his hands. "Should I-"
"Get Prince." Avi near commanded. "Please."
The mystic nodded, running off. The warrior clutched onto Skull.
"...You want to finish your thought, love?"
"W-with you," Skull continued, voice weak. "I f-feel... safe. I'm a-at home, with you by my s-side..."
Avi allowed himself a small smile. "You're safe... I'm never gonna let anything harm you again. Okay..?" He gently ran his fingers through Skull's hair. "You're gonna live, and... and we're gonna go home, and we're going to be alright. We'll raise Sucre, and she'll tell stories of how strong her mama is..."
Skull gave a weak chuckle. "W-We both know, that c-can't happen. A-Avi, I'm s-so tired... I don't t-think I'm gonna make it.."
"Don't say that, Skull." Avi said, holding Skull close. "You're not dying, you're not gonna die... I'm going to keep you safe and alive. Prince is on xyr way. Just try to make it...Please stay for me..."
"I'll t-try..."
Avi gently embraced Skull, not caring that he was getting covered in blood. "I love you." He muttered. "I love you so much..."
But Skull was silent. He was breathing, alive, but silent.
Footsteps approached. Army and Prince.
It was a blur, to Avi. He handed Skull over to the mystic in white, who set him in a cart.
"I can keep him alive long enough to get to my tower." Prince said. "D1git and I- we can heal him then. You head home, someone needs to watch your kids."
Avi watched, as Prince hopped onto the horse, riding off with the cart-and Skull-in tow.
He doesn't know how he ended up at home. Only that he was sleeping in a bed with no one else for the first time in years.
Sucre noticed Avi's shift in mood, as much as he tried to hide it for her. She brought home crafts from school for him, she tried to cheer him up. It helped, somewhat. There was so much of Skull in her.
Aloha and Mask also noticed- Avi's excuse of "He needed to go and fight an incursion" didn't work on them. Especially when Army came home shaking in almost fear.
That was the norm, for a few weeks.
It happened on a day when Aloha and Mask took Sucre out on a hunt.
Avi was trying to do something productive- he was tending to Skull's garden. He was going to miss the lilac blooms, if he took much longer to heal. He'd already missed the bulk of the cherry blossoms.
He saw a cart coming down the road. Nothing big- they were on a route used by traders constantly. But what he did see, was the greying blonde hairs of the old crow, Emperor. Avi's heart sank. Was he here to deliver news of Skull's death?
But then there was a miracle. Avi set down his shovel to go and greet Emperor and receive the bad news. Instead Emperor tapped something in the cart with his talons. "Prince, can you wake him up?"
Wake who up? Avi thought, suddenly noticing the mystic.
Prince seemed to whisper something, and... and someone sat up in the cart. His purple hair in a long braid, and his face had an adorable sleepy expression.
It was Skull.
Avi smiled, and then grinned. "Skull!" He called, estatic.
The archer turned to look at Avi, and his eyes widened. "Avi!"
The warrior ran over, hugging Skull as well as he could. "You're alive..."
Skull smiled, rubbing Avi's upper back. "That's right, I'm here, and I'm alive... You were right, Avi. I lived.."
Avi buried his face in Skull's chest, a sob wracking through his body. Skull was alive. He was alright!
"Let's get you home..."
Avi picked Skull up from the cart, and was... a bit surprised to feel wood in the place of one of his legs. But he didn't care. Skull was alive.
He nodded a thanks to Prince and Emperor, and carried his love inside the lodge, and brought him to their room.
Avi set Skull down on the bed, and flopped down next to him, hugging him tightly. "You're alive..."
"I didn't want to leave you..." Skull replied. "You can bake, but can't cook. I didn't want you to starve.."

Avi was... a heavy sleeper, to say the least. He could sleep through anything. Just... not this.
He heard yelling, much louder than the screams of Army or Mask when nightmares plagued them. He jolted awake, and instantly turned to his side. "Babe?"
Skull was tossing and turning, muttering and even yelling somewhat in his sleep. "N-no, please... p-please get me out of h-here..."
Avi's eyes widened, and he turned on the lamp before placing his hand on Skull's shoulder. "Skull. Skully, wake up!"
Nothing happened for a moment, and then, with a scream, Skull sat up, eyes wide and his skin shimmering with sweat. "W-what..."
"Hey, Skull, everything alright?" Avi asked, hugging him tightly. "You woke up screaming..."
"I d-did?"
Avi nodded, kissing his forehead. "Yeah... Did you have another nightmare?"
Skull nodded. "Y-yeah... about, a-about my leg but... w-worse."
"Can you tell me about it?"
"Just, I s-slipped into that puddle b-but fell into this ocean instead. I c-couldn't see the bottom or the surface, a-and I felt my whole body start to dissolve..." Skull brought his knee up and hugged it, letting his stump stay on the bed. "I-it was s-so painful, a-and I couldn't wake up u-until you helped.."
Avi tightened his embrace on his wife, speaking so softly. "Oh, love... You're safe, here. There's no water here to drown you, you're okay..."
Skull sobbed quietly, leaning into his husband's embrace, "J-just... just hold me..."
"Got it... want to try and get back to sleep?" Avi asked.
Skull shook his head. "D-don't wanna... I d-don't want to face the n-nightmares again..."
Avi kissed Skull's forehead, gently rubbing his back. "That's okay... You wanna watch a movie?"
This time, Skull nodded. "...C-could it be The P-Princesses Bride..?"
"Yeah, we can watch that..."
A few minutes later, Skull was laying down in Avi's lap, the other man's hands gently stroking his tentacle-hair, and a laptop on his chest, playing the soft romantic movie.
Regarding xyr relationship with The Lonely and The Slaughter
With the help of @lunartearrose ive decided that Prince is a dual avatar of the Lonely and The Slaughter. As a Corruption/Eye avatar this makes me happy. and yes you may call me The Wormchivist.
Also I tried. I think I failed to create a lonely-slaughter avatar

"Statement of Prince Cast-"
"Do I really need to have you in the room?" Prince asked, voice echoing.
Avi blinked. "Well, yeah. I might need to ask questions and then end the recording and-"
Xe sighed. "Fine..."
"...Well, Statement of Prince Castilo, regarding... what are your pronouns again?"
"Xe/xem. Anything else is fine, if you want to feel my knife in your back."
The archivist gulped, ajusting his shades. "...Regarding xyr relationships with both The Slaughter and The Lonely. Recorded directly from subject. Statement begins." Avi set the tape in front of Prince. "Go on."
"Can I request that you leave?" Prince asked. "You know me, I'd rather be alone. And I'll do anything to achieve that status."
"...Fine. And you know how to end the recording, right?"
"I wasn't born yesterday. Of course I do."
"Okay.." Avi stood up, and quickly left the room, knowing Prince would make good on xyr promise.
Prince cleared xyr throat. "Right. The Lonely and The Slaughter go hand in hand. Not many people know that. Or even dream of thinking of that concept. The desire to kill, to be the last one standing, and the desire to be alone."
Xe took the boatswain's call around xyr neck, and blew it. A thick fog filled the room. The comfort of The Lonely was quite lovely, to Prince.
"...As I told Avi," Xe continued, voice echo-y. "I will do anything to obtain my solitude. I was lonely-aligned before I was slaughter. The Slaughter got to me through my love of loneliness. I was scared, at first. Of course I was, blood always made me queasy, but... It won me over. It's bloodlust, it went hand in hand with my desire to be alone."
"While I am a lonely avatar, and only slaughter-aligned, the slaughter grants me its powers. I feel as if I am an avatar of both, then." Prince explained. "Some people... don't trigger my bloodlust when interrupting my solitude. Most of the people here don't. Maybe the slaughter or the lonely wants to avoid making more enemies among the powers. Who knows?"
"They protect me. They make me... me." Prince said. "And that would be all."
Xe blew the call again, dismissing the Lonely's fog. Xe stopped the recording, and stepped out of the room.

He needed to know more. More about Rider.
Ever since getting attacked by Jane Prentiss, falling under the influence of the corruption, Rider... had changed. Worms burrowed in his skin. He called himself multiple people in a human host that used to be Rider. They still answered to that name, but still...
Avi sighed. He knew what he needed to do.
He grabbed a tape, feeling all his eyes tingle as he knew what he was going to do.
He called upon Rider. Seeing his skin covered in holes and full of worms scared him, be he forced himself to stayed calm as Rider walked-no, stumbled-over.
Avi led him to his office. "Alright, Rider, I need you to make a statement."
Rider tilted his head. "...Why?" He asked, in his own voice. Though it didn't sound like his voice.
"Just... I might as understand my paranormal co-workers." Avi answered.
"Fair enough... what do you want us to talk about?"
"Your mental state. I'm not saying you're insane, I just... I want to know what's going on in your head." Avi said. "Okay?"
Rider nodded. "Okay."
Avi pressed record on the tape. "Statement of Rider Clark, regarding his-"
"Their." Rider corrected. "More than one being, remember?"
"Right. My apologies." Avi cleared his throat. "Regarding their mental state since falling into the influence of The Corruption. Statement recorded direct from subject. Statement begins."
"We... well, we don't know where to start." Rider said. "Perhaps, that's where. We're not just a single person. We're hundreds upon hundreds of entities, sharing a human host we use to talk. Rider, while our name as a whole, is only one mind in this elaborate web, as Gloves might say."
They continued, "But it's not like we're a hivemind. We more... we can speak to each other, through our minds. Like we said, we're a web of minds. Other than Rider, who is more prevalent than the rest of us, we all have equal say in what we do. We whisper into our own minds to make decisions. Like... honestly, there might be nothing in human experience like it."
"...Can I ask how you feel about each other?" Avi asked.
"Well, we all love each other. We love ourselves." Rider answered. "That might be the reason Rider fell to us rather than fight us; We whispered the idea of being consumed by what loves him, and he indulged into our temptations. We compared this to... being in a polycule, almost. We are essentially a polycule with ourselves. And, Goggles. He is alright with technically being in a relationship with Rider and a bunch of worms."
"That's... an interesting way of putting it." Avi said. "...What about Rider? Like- the original mind, I suppose."
"Oh, Rider's doing fine. He's the main one talking to you, we're just helping him get his words out." Rider said. "He's found his place with us, and he's perfectly content."
"...Is that all?"
Rider nodded. "That's all..."
"Okay. Statement, and recording, end." Avi said, pressing the stop button on the tape recorder. "Thank you for your time, Rider."
They smiled, and gave a nod, walking out of the room.

Ever since that incident, Galax was know for their fire.
And only that. That's all the village asked from it.
Galax, can you help light our fireplace?
Galax, do you want to help us cook?
Galax, help us light our pyre
Galax can protect us from the Gorgons! He has fire!
Ugh. All this fire talk made him want a cold drink. You stick your hand into an enchanted pyre whispering stories to you once. And all this happens!
He should never have even thought of touching that fire. But it did and he let it consume him, and this is where it got them!
He should've let Avi or Kaede push them away. But his soul is now flames, shining bright and brining heat.
And, unwanted expectations.
He couldn't play in the rain or swim in lakes without his body feeling like he was going to drop dead at any second. It couldn't run its fingers through the hair of their lover without the fear that he'd hurt ver.
He felt like the world was dry wood, sometimes. And he could destroy it if he so much touched it wrong.
Galax, despite his name, was a Flamesoul. He had foolishly let fire consume him and now he bore a mark of flame on his forehead. His limbs were pure fire. He could touch things, of course, but he had to keep all his focus on not burning it. Or else.
He was getting better. But it still hated its own powers.
What kind of hero is that?
He sighed. They needed a drink. And a break. And a way to cure itself of this fucking curse!
Maybe a dip in a pool of enchanted water would help. It could wash the fire away and he can become Galax again. Not... the one with the fire.
But his team needs its arsonist ass. Who else would burn the gorgons so their sickness didn't get everywhere?
It hated it. They wanted it to stop. All of it.
---
The one good part about being a flamesoul, you don't get cold.
It was a snowy winter day, and it was freezing. At least, according to the others. The ones without warmth. Emperor's feathers kept him warm, and Rider's crystalline skin felt no temperature. Gloves' fur would've kept them warm but they insisted on having one of Emperor's wings around them. Prince was huddled under the other wing.
And, Galax felt quite toasty, himself.
His firey footsteps left melted snow in his wake. He still didn't like that he couldn't control what he burned, still.
"We should make camp." Skull said. "I doubt we'll get too far like this, and judging by the clouds we're only going to face more snow tonight."
"We'll be fine, right?" Gloves asked. "I mean, most of us can stay warm."
"But not all of us can." Rider said. "And you shouldn't be talking, Mx. 'I-have-a-bird-for-a-husband'."
"You're one to talk, Mr. 'I-have-a-gem-sword-for-an-arm'!"
Galax sighed. "Skull's right. We need to make camp for the night. Besides, we won't need to worry about fire." He stuck his hand up, and chuckled sheepishly. "Just get the wood. We'll be good."
Camp was made, Galax set firewood alight, and the gang gathered around the fire. Prince and Gloves huddled near Emperor, whos wings wrapped around them both. Skull cuddled up to Avi, and Rider simply opted to wrapping his remaining human arm around Goggles.
Galax sat next to Kaede, making no move to wrap its arms around ver, in fear they might hurt ver.
" 'Lex," Kaede started. "You can cuddle up next to me. I don't mind."
"I might burn you." Galax said. "I... I don't wanna hurt you."
"You won't. I know you won't."
It reached an arm towards ver, hesitating. "Are you sure?"
Kaede nodded. "Positive.."
Galax rested their arm on Kaede's shoulder, before pulling ver closer. "This alright?"
Ve nodded. "Yeah.. nice and toasty..." Kaede leaned into the firey warmth of ver boyf. "You're a nice cuddle buddy..."
They blushed, hugging Kaede tighter. "Staaahp..."
Kaede giggled, kissing Galax on his flame mark. "Cutieeee..."
"K-Kaedeeee your mom's right there-"
Kaede didn't seem to care, only nuzzling against Galax's fiery warmth. He sighed. Maybe... Maybe its fire could be used for this, and not destruction. For keeping their partner warm, and not for recklessly burning down gorgons.
