i think to get into (superhero) comic books you kinda do have to get over yourself and be fine with not always knowing the full context. stop being afraid of not knowing who all the characters are or what happened beforehand and just jump into reading whatever you want and learn everything along the way. stop being intimidated by there being a lot of comic book, that's a good thing
