My pinned post was accidentally deleted some weeks ago, so it seems wise to rewrite it.

Hello, I am known as Gale or Mouse. I am an adult, I go by he/him and occasionally they/them, and I am involved in a steady relationship. I quite like to write and I am growing more comfortable with traditional art, specifically watercolour.

I am a fan of The Legend of Zelda and my writing largely reflects this. I especially enjoy villainous characters, in particular Vaati, while Cia and Ghirahim are both a close second. I am also very fond of depicting characters of all types in Minish forms. I am no longer interested in engaging with Linked Universe, however.

Aside from The Legend of Zelda, I also enjoy such video games as Pokémon, Monster Hunter, Etrian Odyssey, and Animal Crossing, among others. I also enjoy TTRPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder and have a great fondness for pet rats and mice. I may not use Tumblr much beyond gathering things I enjoy here, but if you would like to talk I welcome questions or discussion about my writing or other relevant topics.

Please be warned that I do suffer from a handful of mental health issues which may at times be reflected in my creative works.

Apologies for my lack of any new works recently and, indeed, my removal of two of my fics from Ao3. I owe you all some clarity on what is happening.

I am taking a short break from writing for now. It should hopefully not last long. There will be more Villainverse and hopefully more Minish as well soon. The works I have deleted, however, will not return. I no longer wish to be associated with them, and as they were tied to existing series, it was necessary to remove them from the archive rather than simply orphaning or anonymising them.

I am still drawing, if slowly. Currently I am working on a project which I began the day I posted my previous update. It is a series of 25 images and I am working on it rather inconsistently, so it will take some time to complete. Apologies for the delay. If I create smaller works in the interim, I will share those.

On a similar note, I will no longer be writing NSFW content. I may not draw any more of it either. Due to recent circumstances there is simply no longer an audience willing to engage with it, and thus the reward of pleasing people cannot outweigh the shame and embarrassment I feel from creating it.

Due to multiple negative experiences within the community over the past seven months, I have decided that I am no longer interested in engaging with Linked Universe. It is not worth it for my peace of mind. I will also not be continuing my own series about the characters. Whether or not I will eventually return to the LUWAT server depends on how I feel in approximately another month or so. (I had been considering applying to become an artist for it before recent events occurred. There is likely always call for drawing monsters and items relating to the monthly theme, even if I have no intention of claiming any of the characters themselves.)

I am still currently staying away from all social media aside from Tumblr (and even then, rather sporadically) as I work on improving myself. Please do not ask me for any further detail on the topic. I will return when I feel confident enough in myself to return.

A silly sketch which I decided to complete. Ganondorf, suddenly faced with a positive pregnancy test, greatly regretting his life choices. This is part of a semi-modern AU with which I experimented but have set aside.
