Thanks to your support through my kofi (link) and with me selling some of my Pokémon stuff that I never used anymore, I’ve got enough to do another giveaway now :D This time with a transfem focus, since I gave away chest binders last time. (Although, disclaimer: you don’t have to identify as transfem to take part in this. I’m sure there are transneutral people who were amab who’d also find this useful, for example!)

Last December, the FCC voted to to kill net neutrality. If we do not take action, this will kill the free and open internet as we know it. The internet needs you—all of you—to make sure your voices are heard NOW.

These NYPD officers are the plaintiffs in class-action lawsuit alleging the department is violating a 2010 state ban on arrest quotas.

“We’re the predator. They’re the prey,” Pedro Serrano told NBC4 in New York. “The worst thing you can have is a police officer that needs an arrest for the month.”

The punk scene is known more for painted vests and jackets, idk where goth came from. But this is pretty rad af

Goth derived from punk and therefore has a lot of similarities and overlapping style-wise. What is stereotypically thought of as goth nowadays can be very far removed from the early (“original”) goth/deathrock looks, some of which are depicted here in modernized versions. These looks can definitely be classed as goth and they’re true in spirit to the old styles with all the DIY elements. The DIY culture is just something goth took with it when it started becoming its own thing from punk, and painted jackets, ripped tights and all that definitely have a place in goth. The things painted on the jackets (the Batcave, The Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie…) are also very traditional goth things to put on clothing and played important parts in the forming of the subculture, and because of the overlap a lot of punk symbol are found on goth clothing as well.

(Also these photos all came from a FB page for local Angolan goths (and a few post punkers) that seems to be run by the people in these photos. They themselves labeled them goth/tradgoth/post punk/and so on depending on the photo.
