I’ve said it before but 2012!darkly sarcastic cynical and deeply empathetic bruce banner and og!boisterous electrically wild but above all kind thor would have been THE couple

father issues, knowing the monsters that go bump in the night are real (and the monsters being them), being the only one capable of stopping the other in a berserker rage/hulk out, one hides their trauma and pain behind a dark cloud but the other is able to part the storm clouds with their sunshine, forging their own fate after being forcibly created for war. ppl wouldn’t be able to decide which one was the scary one
