Strong believer that any group of people- whether it be friends, coworkers, colleges, family, etc- should have a group quote book to some capacity.

It’s such an awesome thing to immortalize some cornball shit someone said so you can look back and remember it. It draws everyone closer.

Make it in your notes app. Make it in Google Docs. Write them in a physical book. There are so many ways to do it.

The theater at my school had this thing called Copy Paste, where if you said something quote-worthy, someone would say Copy. You’d have the memorize that quote and repeat it whenever someone said Paste. Eventually you’d get a new copy and the cycle continues.

Get creative or stay basic! As long as you have a way to remember silly things that everyone says, it’ll be well worth it. I just started one for my coworkers and it’s awesome.

Man. High school. High school fucking sucks. The last 3 years have been miserable and I’ve tried to cut them short more times than I’ll ever admit. But also. It’s been the greatest experience of my life, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be this safe again. But also I can’t wait to get out of this town and restart. But also I will always carry the weight of everyone I have ever loved and have always loved. And also I don’t want to ever have a meaningful relationship again. And also i might be the coolest person ever. And also I’m fuckin evil or something.

Sometimes there are no wrong answers.

That last sentence caught me off guard. Yeah dude nothing is black and white, don’t judge yourself and your life based on absolutes.

There’s nuance to everything. There’s good and bad to everything. Light can’t exist without darkness and vice versa. Yin and Yang.

There’s always going to be bad. That’s a fact of life. (It’s also extremely subjective). But guess what, that means there’s good too.

The beauty of life lies within all the different shades and hues it has. Not black and white, but a whole spectrum of color.
