In Super Mario Odyssey, there is a particular Power Moon in Bowser's Kingdom that hovers above a circle of coins in the middle of a Spark Pylon path.

The way to obtain it is to shake the controller while Spark Pylon Mario is near the coins, which will cause him to unexpectedly leave the path and jump from coin to coin until he collects the Power Moon. This behavior is highly unusual for the Spark Pylon capture, which is always confined to a specific path, and can easily be assumed to be specifically programmed for that one scenario.

However, in actuality the Spark Pylon transformation is simply programmed to always be able to leave its path and jump short distances toward collectibles, even though this is almost never relevant and requires special setups to see in-game outside of the above scenario. The footage shows that if a Power Moon is made to spawn near a Spark Pylon, Mario will jump toward it.
