I really think if FT was ending Mashima would’ve let us know in advance. I hope theres an arc after this that wraps everything up, but if not thats fine. We still have about a year or two with Fairy Tail manga and then a few years with the anime. Its not over yet ~

If FT is ending I’ll be really annoyed because then it will be two manga’s that I love that have botched their ending by rushing it. First Naruto, then FT. If it ends now then we’ll get half-assed explanations for things and sizable plot holes. 

Although, this hasn’t come from Mashima directly and staff have made announcements that aren’t true before and had to apologise. So for now unless I hear it from Mashima himself, I’ll withhold judgement. That and I don’t believe Mashima would reveal anything like that, he has said in interview that he doesn’t give away anything about the future because it ruins it…and he’s right. 

Besides, I honestly don’t believe any of them are capable of defeating zeref or acno. Or are we going to get an everyone dies situation or a complete BS victory…both are rather unsatisfactory.

 Surely it has been a great adventure and reading fairy tail every week has been like a weekly ritual for me (and im sure it has been for all of you) but..is this really ending? imo i think that if the series was indeed coming to an end he would have announced it in his twitter than to announce it in his movie website.

 To be quite honest with you guys  it most probably meant was that the arc was coming to an end, not the series. But as some of you are saying,lets not jump to conclusions and wait till we get further news..
