todoiida is one of those ships that is really really underrated but is so good once you GET it.

the parallels of them both coming from elite wealthy hero families, both dealing with their own baggage from what happens to their brothers and the pressure to uphold the name. Iida’s desire for revenge similar to how Shoto refused to use part of his quirk. when they pick their own hero names i noticed shoto and iida were the only ones to pick their real names due to the circumstances they’re both under.

thinking abt the mutual worry they’ve shown for each other too. Shoto during the Stain arc and Iida when Shoto is confronting Toya/his families past.

It’s sooooo interesting to me. I’d even go as far as to say this ship is probably the most interesting to me after after bkdk and tgck! even if you don’t seem them as romantic their dynamic is undeniably fascinating.
