Rihanna’s New Shoe Collaboration With Manolo Blahnik Is Fierce…to Say the Least #fashion #style #ootd
When it comes to fashion design, Rihanna is all in.
On the heels of her critically acclaimed runway show for Fenty x Puma at New York Fashion Week in February, the stylish songstress has announced a collaboration with none other than shoe god, Manolo Blahnik.
Rihanna and Blahnik worked together on six limited edition styles of boots and pumps, influenced by everything from her love of denim to her epic tattoos. The collection will available at Manolo Blahnik’s flagships in New York City, London, and Hong Kong starting May 5, with retails from $895 to $3,995.

No one could be more thrilled about the collab than Rihanna herself, who said she’ll get all kinds of emotional when she sees them on a woman IRL. She told Vogue U.K.: “The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes… I am sorry for that woman because I’m going to literally run after her, shouting, ‘Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?’ I’m going to have a moment!”
But the diva does have a warning before wearing a specific style in the collection: “Those boots are dangerous!” she said of the 9-to-5 Boots. “If you’re trying to get back home to your bed, don’t wear them boots! You will get kidnapped in those boots, those boots are trouble.”
The Canary Island-born footwear maven was quite taken with the star himself. “This is an incredibly exciting collaboration and I am absolutely thrilled with the results, “said Blahnik. “Working with Rihanna has been amazing and her drive, passion, creativity and style has been reflected in the designs, with fabulous results. I think everyone is going to love what they are about to see.”
