Bruce who's reckless, Bruce who cackles and cracks jokes during fights, Bruce who glares when he cries, Bruce who resents Alfred for being a butler instead of a father, Bruce who lives off protein bars, Bruce who sees everyone around him with bullet wounds.

A Bruce who acts like Jason and jokes like Dick.

A feral, scared, angry version of their dad.

A Bruce Wayne seeing Gotham, still violent, still loud, still a shitshow. But it's better, it's so much better then the Gotham he grew up in. All the same and completely different.

Seeing a life where he might not be better, or healthier or cared for in the way he wanted but wanting to protect it anyway.
