Went to San Francisco last weekend. But we spent a day in Napa. Went to my favorite V. Sattui Winery for a light lunch. Then checked out Caymus Winery after. Although, I was loving the cooler weather in San Francisco, I didn't mind braving the heat for a day of wine tasting with my hunny.

Finally got to try Sugarfish. We both ordered the Nozawa. Oh my sushi. The hype is definitely real. Thanks again for a delicious dinner, hunny!

Got to see Usher, Kehlani, & Bryson Tiller on Friday.

Usher was amazing!

Haven't had that much fun at a concert in awhile.

Usher was truly the soundtrack to my high school days and he definitely brought back some great memories.

Spent a couple hours at LACMA today.

Had reservations for the Rain Room.

Didn't stay that long after, just enough to walk around a bit.

And take advantage of air conditioning.

Happy birthday, hunny!

This guy may come off tough. He will straight up tell you like it is and he doesn't put up with BS. But he's also a big softie and a kid at heart.  He is wise beyond his years and has one of the kindest hearts. I know you don't like the attention, but I wish you the happiest of birthdays. May your year be full of laughter, love, and amazing memories.

Sleepless: The Music Center After Hours/Hip-Hop Edition

Last Friday night, we went to Sleepless.

An after hours event held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

They had drinks, DJs, cool lighting, art demos, dancing. 

Really cool event. Something real different.

Especially the fact that Chad actually stayed up past 10pm, hehe.

Pink Drink.

Had a bunch of errands to run today.

Which sucked because it was hot as hell.

Perfect day to try out Starbucks' secret drink -- the pink drink!

If you ask for it and they don't know how to make it, it's pretty simple to order.

Just ask for a Strawberry Acai Refresher.

Then instead of water, have them replace it with coconut milk.

Reminds me of a pink starburst.   

Delicious, but not as mind blowing as people made it out to be.

Really refreshing, so definitely perfect for these upcoming summer days.

I would order it again.

Monterey Bay Aquarium.

     Headed up to Monterey for the long weekend for the Cali Roots Festival. Today was our day to be tourists and explore Monterey. I loved Monterey. The weather is nice. The city is beautiful. Perfect place for a nice little getaway. We paid a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Sooooo crowded since it was Memorial Day. Lots of cool things to see, though. Definitely a must when in Monterey. XOXO, Grace
