Well, truth be told. There wasn't anywhere to access the Far-Side; it was normally hidden from the Near-Side, but there were, of course, ways to access it. One way was to make a gateway, or another was- Kishinami seemed to go quiet, as if a hidden memory had resurfaced, one that gave him the shudders.
But then, he was quickly pulled out of it, hearing the young servant's voice, about the rooms, books, and of course...the whole "deemed" useless information. "Well, Kid. Near-Side houses everything; think of it as another Earth, that can expand as long as it needs to be, so you can house whatever you want, a kitchen, library, schools, and so many more." But now here comes the...topic, which Kishinami wasn't sure how to start with, but he would try. "You are...correct in some form, every information can be in some way. However, there is some "information" that isn't needed, such as the raw emotions of humans, despair, hatred, loneliness-feelings that can bloat out other information that is deemed to be useful, if left unchecked in the eyes of the Moon-Cell."
"Huh....I guess I get it? Sort of. It's like clearing off pictures so you can make room for more?" He didn't exactly like the thought of emotions being deemed as bloat, but he was pretty sure it wasn't his call. He wasn't a Moon-Cell, after all.
"I guess if the Near Side has so much stuff like you said, it makes sense other stuff has to be shoved aside. Everything is a lot of stuff, after all"
He was just going to choose not to think about it for now. It was probably easier for him to just come back to those kinds of thoughts when he had more time to stew over them. Time to change topic, then!
"So what kinda stuff do you do on the Moon-Cell? Do you just live here? Or do you go on adventures in the different parts of the sea? Are other people you live with here? Other servants or masters?"

Well, Flame already knows, given she was the one who pushed Grey to ask Belle in the first place.
Silent Voice will probably just give her a literally bone crushing hug the next time they see each other. Both as a congratulations and also as a punishment for not telling them ahead of time.
And Sakura Blossom will give her shit for springing the whole thing on them without warning for months if not years.
" And ice cream. "
After a few more minutes she let off Gray, with that voice in her head vanishing after it.
" Right. "
Almost like if she was reborn in a hug, Belle was currently moving her ears and tail like no tomorrow.
"Just gonna keep pushing, huh? Fine, twist my arm why don't you? I was thinking about picking up some anyways, so you grab a flavor you want and I'll grab one I want." She could only hope Belle grabbed an actual flavor and not some kinda weirdness she was going to try to bait people into eating.
"Now come on, we're burning daylight. Let's get moving."
Now that Belle had let go, they were off towards the store. And things were looking up!
She didn't let go, she just continued the hog even if in normal times she wouldn't even done it. It felt good...
" I want french fries too. "
Well, probably not the nutritious meal to celebrate, but now it was probably the last thing in Belle's mind.
" I can help you too. "
Well, if she wanted to stay there, Grey could wait. It wasn't like it was a huge issue. Maybe for Belle's reputation if she got seen by too many people giving out hugs, but that was about it.
"We're already frying chicken, it can't hurt to do a few more things. So sure, fries too. We can cook together, as long as you're careful with the oil. It'll make things a good deal easier. Fast too, as long as we just stay careful about things."
" . . . "
It felt incredible for Belle, almost like if someone pull out a weight out of her shoulders and feet. Even that voice that was strangling her was fading out, she then stopped in the middle of the walk- even in public she just
" Hmm- "
Hugged Grey right there.
" I want fried chicken... "
Grey jolted at the sudden hug, but stopped to let Belle enjoy it. This kinda physical stuff was rare for her, after all. Reaching up, she rubbed Belle's back until the girl, her kid, let go.
"Fried chicken, huh? I can swing that. Karaage might be a bit easier, but I think I know how to do whole pieces too, if you want. Can't be that much harder, right? I'll buy some sides to go with it, too. We'll make a whole meal out of it in no time."
"...."
It takes the girl a good minute hearing a sincere apology, and a genuine expression of concern to boot. After she's managed to stop lagging, Rozen manages a sigh before waving it off, unfolding her arms and resting her hands on her hips instead. Gawking wasn't a good look.
"No, it's... it's fine. Sorry I kind of went off on you too, Nurse Grey Stoke; I'm a little wary around nurses and doctors. The last dozen that I ran into who weren't you or Piltz all pretty much told me to give up on running after they saw my charts."
Rubbing the back of her neck--Ah, great, now she feels embarrassed and apologetic here, enough that her ears are drooping just a little rather than to be straight up in attentiveness in a manner that definitely wasn't unlike a cat's airplane ears.
"--Just half. I brought a spare bag, most of it's just preventative measures honestly. A friend's brother recommended hawthorn tea a few years back since it's apparently good for the cardiovascular system, so I've been drinking it ever since. I stock up whenever I do my medicine run."
"Bah, don't worry about that. I've heard worse. Like in some of my residency time." She couldn't help but shudder at the memories. "If you've gotten that much crap from other doctors, it only makes sense you'd be defensive. A little bit of heat is understandable."
The mention of Piltz got a huff of laughter from Grey as she thought about the girl's usual manner. Seems like Rozen didn't mind the worry even wrapped in anger, as long as it was genuine. Another thing to keep a mental note on. At least she wasn't bristling like she was about to take a swing anymore.
The offered bag was scooped up with a single hand, with Grey not even having a break in her chatter as she lifted it with ease.
"Sure, sure, I can take half with no problem. That hawthorne stuff sounds right, but I'd have to go check before I said anything for certain. Does it taste good at least?"
I mean I would also spam my daughter if she randomly says she is coming home with a kid she never mentioned to us, I get you Grey's mom.
Grey is going to Fucking Get It from her entire family over this. She's earned everything she gets from the way she's doing it too.
" . . . "
Belle was silent, something weird on her as she saw Grey continue to explain it. Even if she wanted to answer, it was like the voice of a certain someone was putting their foot on her neck to not talk.
" Who in their right mind would love you? "
While she just stared at Grey for a few minutes without saying nothing, feeling her heart go faster.
" . . . "
She had to say anything to that response, but she just kept in silence for a while, she had to move on and probably was killing Grey with the suspense.
" I... I would like too. "
The silence was oppressive, to say the very least. To Grey, it felt like the time waiting for a response was just stretching on forever.
And then finally. Finally! The thing she'd only hoped she'd get to hear. She didn't even bother to hide the smile on her face as she turned to Belle.
"That's! Cool. Great, I mean! The actual paperwork stuff might be a bit of a mess, but uh... I guess I'll let mom know I'm bringing my kid along when I visit. She'll definitely be surprised. Probably blow my phone up with questions when I just drop this in her lap. "
She'd definitely need to hit up some people about paperwork. Especially to make sure Reine couldn't cause Belle any trouble legally. But for now, she'd just enjoy the walk with her new family member.
"Sure there's nothing you don't want for dinner?"
"Uh... yeah? It's my heart, not exactly gonna screw that up considering medication for it is finicky."
The look on Rozen's face all but screamed 'are you stupid' with that comment about knowing the ins and outs of her condition, countless visits to the doctor as well as her parents personally examining the charts and test results made her pretty intimately familiar. ... Well, not that the particular details about her knowledge would be on her chart. Ugh.
Folding her arms across her chest, the girl bites back rolling her eyes--The concern's valid, and so long as she's not being chased across campus; She can't really afford to complain, can she?
"Because I wanna run."
The words are so blunt and straightforward that one might think she's being sarcastic, but the look in her mauve-brown eyes is about as serious as it gets.
"I don't get to run and shut the idiots who think I can't do it without pushing myself a little."
Goddesses save her from stubborn kids with dangerous problems. Grey couldn't blame Rozen for being like this, she understood the feeling. But damn if seeing her lug around so much over the counter medicine didn't set off every alarm bell in her head.
"Look, given how many students will hide their injuries or pains until they literally destroy their ability to run, can you blame me doubting you? But I get it. I do. It just scares the hell out of me seeing all this stuff. I'll apologize for treating you like you didn't know what you were doing. How about I carry this for you, as an apology?"
" Hey- "
Well, any comment she could fire back was quickly shut down by Grey's question.
" . . . "
It was weird NOT hearing Belle saying something back, she had to almost reboot herself to what she heard.
" What do you mean? "
Maybe she just didn't heard Grey.
"Well...y'know. You crash at my apartment when you feel like it, I make you lunch, all that kinda stuff. I figured maybe, if you weren't opposed, I could like. Take you in officially?"
Grey rubbed at her arm as she tried to put her thoughts in order. Hopefully Belle wasn't too weirded out. "It's not like things would change much beyond some paperwork, anyways. I just wanted to offer, you know?"
"Everything except my actual problem and the concealment, yeah. Someone screw up your files or something? My mom would have a field day if she heard that."
Rozen's tone came out more dry than intended, but really--The girl always talked like that, so she didn't bother to correct herself. That, and too many dealings with medical practitioners who aren't as well-versed as your parents (not exactly a fair comparison, considering they were leading in their fields) eventually puts you on edge. Ears twitching once, possibly in mild annoyance as she wipes the sweat from her brow with the back of her hand, she's not going to bother to continue lugging this thing around if she doesn't have to amidst chatting.
"Try 'weak cardiovascular system'. Don't know who decided to write down 'respiratory', they're two different things even if they're connected. Anyway--I don't hide anything, I can just manage worse than this."
"Consider me surprised, you do actually know what's written on your file. And here I thought you'd just be talking out your ass like some of the other students here." She'd have to keep a mental note of that. Whether or not it was from her parents or if Rozen just knew how to get into her own files, it was something to remember.
"That said, if you know what your issues are so well, why are you treating your symptoms this way? Like hell, I wouldn't be surprised if someone thought you were pulling a Tachyon and making untested drugs out of all this crap you're lugging around."
"Still In Love is definitely not a vampire, yeah." She's staring real hard at the multiple notes of the girl having bitten other racers on her medical file, though. "...Definitely. For sure."
"Oh, me? Just, uh. Just some stuff I need. That's all."
This isn't going to work well in her favor, is it? Yeah, it's her fault for going at it a little too hard in practice because an off-handed comment from one of her peers pissed her off, but she proved a point that she can handle a 2000m run just as well as anyone else while making everyone eat her dust. So, you know. Warranted. Right?
Nope.
She's kicking that box of hawthorn tea she got from that old Chinese medicine store she frequents right back in the sack after it tumbles out with an audible wooden clunk. No biggie. Best to lug this back before Piltz finds her.
"Should be on my medical record, I've got permission."
Grey's eyes narrowed as the girl talked, looking between her and the bag of medicine, not to mention the wooden box that was kicked back in.
"Yeah, I think I do recognize you. By reputation more than anything. Rozen Maiden, right?" Grey cleared her throat, before speaking as if she was reciting something. Medical file notes, perhaps. "Multiple minor injuries from excessive training, exacerbated due to insistence on concealment and self-medication. All injuries noted due to weakness in respiratory system. That sound correct?"
"Huh, wonder who that could be."
Girl, why are you lugging a sack of konbini brand respiratory medication and some heart medication with you back to your dorm....
"Hey, kid. There a reason you're lugging a whole damn medicine cabinet to the dorm?" Her nurse senses are tingling, and they're telling her that this girl is dangerously irresponsible.
"I can feel it in the air. There's a student somewhere doing something incredibly stupid and dangerous to their health. More than usual for Tracen, anyways."
" Your family? "
Well that was weird, she couldn't blame them for wanting to know her.
" Sure... "
The offer would linger in her mind, she may think about it.
" I don't have nowhere in mind, but maybe we should get you some reading glasses. "
There she goes.
"Yeah yeah, you're real funny, aren't you? Come on, get some new material already." Grey reached out and flicked the side of Belle's head as payback.
At least the bit about seeing her family had gone over well enough. Now she just had to push for the big part. Probably best to just toss it out there. The last thing Grey wanted was to just keep circling the point. "About for the family visit, I wanted to know how you wanted me to introduce you. Like just as a student, or uh...like as part of the family?"
