Bereavement is hard, but the loss of a child throws your entire life into the air and you have to scramble to pick up the pieces and try and make it fit together again.
Losing my son Logan in 2017 changed me, I'm not the person I was before he died, I was 26 when he was stillborn, and having just marked what would have been his 4th birthday I have found myself overwhelmed with the sense of time passing me by.
Feeling further away from him and the fear of forgetting is a strong worry for me and seems to get worse as time passes.
Trying to remember my son as he was, as he would be now, and keep going for his siblings is a fine balance.
Forever trying to keep his memory alive to allow the process of grief for us all. My husband who lost his son, my sons - who at the time Logan was born were 10, 6 and 6 - my youngest daughter to never got to meet her brother, and for me, I still to this day cannot process how I lost him so close to the end of our pregnancy...
