My opinion (that no one asked for) on Rhea vacating the title for an “interim” champion?

I like it.

We all knew upon returning Rhea would get a championship match almost immediately and take the belt back. This just lets fans (mostly the whining IWC) know Rhea’s getting a championship match. Get used to it.

I also think this is a big opportunity. It’s a test. Can they handle it? How are the fans reacting? Are the fans accepting? Do they like this champ? Is the woman able to handle it? The pressure. This could very well lead to retaining or even getting it back later for a real run.

Do not put Charlotte or Jade in this match. Leave their feud alone. Do not ruin it. Do not insult Charlotte with an interim title. Let these two women run their feud. Give them matches to qualify but cost each other. Add that layer in.

Don’t be stupid and think Rhea isn’t coming back to the title. They gotta be eye balling Crown Jewel for either Rhea/Iyo or Rhea/Liv.

She’s not the first injured wrestler to vacate the belt and come right back to the belt. (Or the first wrestler to be injured and come back to an immediate big win and title shot-win combo.)

My money? Jacy is winning this.
