I couldn't help but think of how Lightray in his little glowing form from The New Gods (2024) #6, which I have affectionately dubbed Orbray, reminds me so much of Orion's description of him from DC Graphic Novel #4:

It makes me think that if Orion sees him in his 'death' like this he really would think he's like a tragic wandering star.
