The KIDS act (which contains KOSA) passed the US house, so I recommend calling your senators and telling them to vote in opposition. I don't think I need to stress the importance of being able to use the internet freely and without privacy barriers being breached.

There are many scripts online you can follow, many ways to tweak your message to fit your senator (ESPECIALLY if they are up for reelection this year). Whether it's a recording you reach or a real person, be straightforward, don't argue, just let your rep know that you are a constituent and you oppose the KIDS act, etc.

Here is where you can search for your senator... call, email, fax, bring them physical letters, show up in person to their offices if you are able.

#me when I thought that shellfish just always tastes kinda sharp and makes your mouth itch #bc it comes from the sea y'know?#and I'm a land creature therefore conflict is inevitable when trying to eat things from the ocean #so I had to scarf as much of it down as fast as possible bc my stomach was gonna start hurting after a couple bites #and I wanted to eat as much of it as possible #also I couldn't leave it sit in my mouth too long otherwise it would hurt!!#then I'd get really thirsty and chug a bunch of water before getting really light-headed and sleepy #the same thing happened with pizza and spaghetti and literally anything with tomatoes #I never understood why people smothered foods in ketchup bc yeah sure it tastes ok I guess #but it's really sharp and painful so anything more than a couple droplets on your stuff is kinda overkill??#not to mention how it makes your whole face feel hot #like c'mon guys #anyway........I'm gonna need everyone to stop acting like peanuts are the only food allergy that exists #also stop acting like the only allergic reaction is anaphylaxis bc surprise!!#turns out that the human body can have an adverse reaction to literally anything!! and it doesn't always result in insant death!!#but it's still not fucking good!!!
