This is a kinky aesthetics blog. It focuses on feedism as a consenual, fat-positive kink. I share content I think is beautiful and erotic; I'm always checking for consent, but if I share your photos or content accidentally and you'd prefer it not to be on a kink blog, please let me know and I'll take it down right away.

Who are you?

Queer, feminist, AMAB non-binary feedist who decided to get active in the community once I saw feedism and fat liberation could go together.

I'm pretty neurodivergent (ADHD, BPII, and probably ASD)

I write erotica on the side

I work hard to be a good thin ally to fat-folks

I am non-monogamous and single

I go by Gentle-Voluptuary on Feabie and GentleVoluptuary Fetlife (if we're friends there, hi!)

What is this place?

This is blog is intended to celebrate, admire, and analyze things that to me should go to together, but often don't:

Fatness - bodies that are fat.

Feedism - a collection of related orientations, behaviours, practices, language, beliefs, and fantasies centred on the experience of fatness.

Fat Liberation - the belief and practice of addressing the active, ongoing, and damaging system of anti-fat prejudice toward fat people.

Sensualism - an orientation and practices towards pleasureful embodiment and stimulation.

did you know there's a 100-page study into feedism with 23 feedist participants? it also looks at some feedist erotica and prior, smaller studies on the subject!

well, I read it recently and have put up an overview of its content on feedism.neocities.org!

whilst it's titled Feederism, it's actually incredibly positive on feedism as a fetish/kink! the authors spend a lot of time dismantling misconceptions about feedist practices and community, and the feederism vs feedism difference comes up a few times.

i would totally recommend reading the whole book. it's not very long or impenetrably academic, it features interviews with a very varied set of feedists with different likes, desires and goals, and it's very positive towards feedism as a whole. the thoughts of its participants and the conclusions its authors draw resonated a lot with me, and it's very reassuring to see something treating feedism as a neutral kink/sexuality like any other!

The work that @doughyfatfox and @soft-sappho are doing to assemble feedists texts in an online, accessible way is really incredible. This study is such a landmark and it's great to have the summary available for feedists.

Kinkiness aside for a moment, fat is so beautiful, fatness has such an eye catching beauty for me, that no one who fits into the current beauty standards can compare to it.

Yes muscular frames do take a lot of work and dedication to shape them into that exact form someone wants, I definitely respect said effort. But it can't hold a candle to someone who is overweight and the allure they've got.

The roundness of someone's belly and the softness that always gives in with the smallest of touches. How every inch of their body is coated in that same rich softness that makes everything much bigger and appealing, creating hangs, rolls, curves and folds in a unique way.

And no one can convince me that fatness isn't attractive or doesn't hold beauty, for I always see it.

knowing how expensive plus sized clothing is to get sometimes, I think fat bodies should be treated as expensive, luxurious, decadent things as well. Being fat is expensive, and dating somebody fat in my opinion, should be the equivalent of getting to show off a luxury art piece. The upkeep is so worth it, because they’re so worth it.
