A My Hero Academia OC!

With both of her parents being heroes Piero always felt a sense of duty to become a hero, but she didn’t just want to live up to expectations, she wanted to make people laugh, make them smile. 

She has a bombastic personality and teases those she enjoys company of relentlessly. 

Her quirk is called ‘Cartoon’ and it gives the user an appearance of a cartoon like character in their grey skin tone and blacked out eyes.

Piero can also shoot ink from her palms which then can be moulded before solidifying, she calls this substance ‘Hard Ink’ and it allows her to make crude weaponry such as hammers and swords.

Hm. I don’t know how to talk about it.

And I don’t feel like i WANT to talk about it.

But I must confess that I am impressed, happy and sad at the same time. I never thought an art of mine could hit so many likes, like, wow! I see my best friend @primory​ getting 10,000 likes, or people I admire like @24cr​ reaching those marks, and I say to myself: Gee, it’s impossible, I can’t do this. My art is not awesome like theirs.

And well, it happened… But … I I didn’t gain any benefit from it. 

I mean. I didn’t got any followers, and I couldn’t see people’s reactions to my art.

Diamond Theory time:

I do not believe White Diamond is a fusion as some people have posited. We have seen her hand illustrated as an entity separate from that of Blue and Yellow’s, we know her gem is on her forehead, we’ve seen what I believe is the silhouette of her ship, and she has her own separate mural with unique conquered planets/colonies:

Based on the fact that she has more planets to her name than any of the other Diamonds (including the original planet ‘Homeworld’ which I believe is the planet in her grasp), I believe she is the oldest of the Diamonds.

How old is the oldest Diamond? How old can a gem really become? Eternal? Infinite? Hmm.

I believe White Diamond is dying. Like an ancient star, her energy is fizzling out and growing faint. She is collapsing. Even though all gems are imbued with light energy that powers their forms, it surely cannot be eternal. While they do live a lot longer than organic beings, even a Diamond must fade. I think this is the reason White has not been seen yet, and the reason she’s not included in major events (like the Trial). She’s in the midst of the end.

I believe Pink was brought into the universe in order to help Blue and Yellow take up the mantle of leadership in White’s absence. Perhaps none of the Diamonds knew how to deal with this imminent death–because how often does a Diamond die?–and Pink’s creation was rushed, unexpected. It must have been chaos trying to figure out what to do when faced with losing the Matriarch of their species. I believe that the reason Yellow and Blue pushed Pink so hard was because they felt they were running out of time before they truly had to say goodbye to White for good. They were so focused on trying to figure out how things were going to work without White that they did not have the time or patience to deal with Pink, leading, of course, to the events of the Rebellion. With the loss of Pink and the impending loss of White, everything seemed to be crumbling for Blue and Yellow. Thus the perceived callous/dismissive attitude toward Pink, thus their antagonistic grief was exacerbated.

Steven Universe has tackled many hard-hitting issues in the course of the show. Consent, identity, forgiveness, depression, family, mental illness, love, and more. Death may very well be one of the next big themes it explores.

What a grand and terrible thing to see: the death of a star, the death of a Diamond.

OK sO, Ruby was dressed as a cowboy in the new Steven Universe episode ‘The Question’, a very masculine seeming thing correct? Well....in some leaks it’s been shown that Ruby’s gonna wear a wedding dress. THIS IS PURE GENIUS! Russian has censored Steven universe and said that Ruby was a male I believe and it’s my theory that the crew did this to completely screw over the censors. Ruby is presented as a male and yet wears a dress. It’ll completely mess up any censorship

Notice how Russia is missing? Yeah, it’s my believe the crewniverse have decided to get back at this censorship by:

A. Destroying Russia on the SU map

B. Making a character censored to become a masculine gem, wear a dress.

These episodes are too important to let Russia merely skip over them so they might have to comply with this. PURE GENIUS.

So I want to give a little bit of backstory to Commander Cyclops. I don’t want to give too much away but he’s linked with a character quite far down the line. He usurped the position as the leader of the Red Army from this character.

Oh, and remember the Yellow Triangle and Red. It’ll make identifying the past leader easier.

Its me again, Art Fight is an online thing where u make a profile and add ur OCs and during the month if July if u participate ur put into 2 teams and have to draw the other team members OCs, and they draw ur OCs! And its super fun! I just thought u might like it (or u can spectate and just see all the good art!)

Don’t just accept the new Terms of Service

Tumblr’s at it again, thanks to the new European Privacy Laws. There’s probably nobody who will read this, but it pissed me off so much that I decided to make a post about it. (Ignore the weird language mish-mash, depending on your country the language might differ.)

OK, so many of us get this screen when we try to access our dash:

Realise how the ‘OK’ button is a nice, attention-grabbing blue? If you’re like me, you’re not exactly into reading a 100 pages document and tend to just click it.

My tip? DONT. Instead click on ‘Manage Options’ right next to it:

Now you’ll see this page:

Still pretty harmless, right? That ‘Accept’ button is looking really attractive right now. Instead, click on Verwalten (Probably something like ‘Manage Options’ or something in english) and you’ll get to this page:

Now that’s not too bad, right? I just switched all the buttons to ‘off’, because I’m jealously guarding my personal information and don’t want Tumblr to go off and do who knows what with it. Looks like we’re done! But wait: There’s a SHOW option.

When we click on that one, what we will get is this:

A HUGE list with OVER 300 ENTRIES of companies that can use your data by default if you’d just clicked ‘OK’ on that very first page. Coincidence that this list is hidden that much? Me thinks not. They’re all switched on by default, but I am still a petty bitch that doesn’t want to give out her data, so I switched them all off. All 300+ of them. There is no option to switch them all off at once, and even if you disable all the options above, the companies are still switched on.

(If you wonder how i got that number, I copied the list into excel and looked at the cell number. No way am I actually counting all those entries)

This is good, and while you’re at it, I strongly encourage you to install the EFF’s Privacy Badger browser extension while you’re at it, which automatically blocks connections to known tracking systems without you needing to do a thing! And don’t forget to install a good adblocker!

Nobody’s being stupid here, except Tumblr! I welcome all of you into my cave filled with pettiness over privacy agreement violations. We can roast marshmallows and drink hot cocoa, but only over an electric grill, actual barbecuing is forbidden in my building.

Okay, here we go:

1.This seems to be an European thing. I don’t know if the same options have been implemented for folks from other areas, but comments suggest not. I recommend to still check your privacy settings and the ‘Labs’ section to make sure Tumblr didn’t secretly introduce and switch on any options you’re uncomfortable with. (Here’s a couple of links, I havent read them all myself so quality might be questionable X the law itself X )

2. A problem many people (including myself) have run into is that the whole changing settings isn’t working as it should - the options switch themselves back on, as soon as you leave the screen. Even when you’ve clicked the nice ‘Done’ button at the bottom. NOT COOL TUMBLR.

3. Privacy add-ons are always a good idea. I use Ghostery to block trackers, but unfortunately, those have their limits as well. Corporations are money-grabbing and greedy.

4. The whole ‘U want something for free you need to give ur data’ thing - I am aware that Tumblr needs to pay its bills somehow. But the sheer amount of companies the user data is sold to is ridiculous and completely out of proportion, holy shit!

5. Tumblr is apparently still changing things and switching the location of the settings menu for this around, so this might not work forever.

If you accidentally agreed beforehand, want to disable the bazillion options and don’t mind that Tumblr might switch them back on, here’s how you can do that:

Go to Settings -> Privacy Settings -> Disable Cookie Consent

Cookie Consent is mandatory to use Tumblr, but if you switch it off, you should be transfered to the privacy settings page mentioned above.

The Cookie Consent will switch itself back on automatically.

( It’s in German, but it should look pretty similar in other languages!)

While you’re at it, check the Labs section, sometimes Tumblr introduces experimental functions that are pretty shitty concerning privacy as well.

How to opt out of Cookie Consent on the tumblr mobile format (not the app, sorry)! Step 1: Go to the three horizontal lines icon and click on it. Step 2: Click ‘Settings. The icon is a cog. Step 3: Click 'Account’. Step 4: There are sections on the right hand side. Click on the 'Privacy’ section. Step 5: There will be a Cookie Consent option to the bottom left of the page. Turn it off and you are done! Good luck everyone! ☺
