@negrofeo where is this from? I can't stop laughing at this
Hey!! I was wondering if it would be okay if I used one of the photos from this post for a moodboard for one of my Halsin fics?
If not, it's super fine!!!
of course go for it, can you send me a link to it when it's ready?
So I wanted to redraw this comic panel above with my elf OC but I'm not sure I got it right.
As you can see the blonde woman is in the process of putting on her shirt, the sleeves are around her arms and she press the shirt against her chest while her shoulders, entire back and legs are fully naked. But I feel the result I have is wrong and I'd like advices to draw this properly, also if you want you can try to draw my elf in that situation.
Thanks in advance for the help
I'd like to make an art challenge, can you draw my elf girl OC and her elf dad like the comic scene below with the elf in the process of putting her shirt on but her entire back, shoulders and legs are bare while her dad barges in the tent.

Why do the elves look like pointy eared humans in the Divinity trailer?
I'm scared they are going to abandon their unique take on elves and take a more "classic" approach, was the unique design not popular enough or is it just how elves look in the trailer but not in the game?

The Dwemer Did Not Vanish: A Canon-Only Reconstruction of Their Ontological Translocation via the Heart of Lorkhan
Introduction
The disappearance of the Dwemer remains the single greatest unresolved event in The Elder Scrolls cosmology. Despite centuries of in-universe scholarship and decades of out-of-universe debate, no explanation grounded purely in canon has achieved both internal coherence and explanatory completeness. This post proposes a reconstruction of the Dwemer disappearance using only non-theoretical, established lore from The Elder Scrolls I–V, without invoking headcanon, authorial intent, or speculative metaphysics beyond what the setting itself repeatedly demonstrates. The conclusion is simple, but disruptive: The Dwemer did not die, vaporize, or erase themselves. They underwent a collective ontological translocation mediated by the Heart of Lorkhan — most plausibly into the dormant Plane of Lorkhan itself.
I — Canonical Premises (Non-Disputable) Before extrapolation, we establish facts that are not meaningfully contested within canon.
Lorkhan Was Fragmented, Not Destroyed It is universally accepted that: Lorkhan’s body was divided His Heart remained intact and active His influence persists long after his “death” Therefore, Lorkhan retains ontological continuity.
The Heart of Lorkhan Actively Sustains Reality The Heart: Sustained the Tribunal for eras Enabled Vivec’s semi-divinity Powered the Numidium in multiple timelines This establishes that the Heart does not merely grant power — it maintains stable ontological states.
Kagrenac’s Tools Are Mediators, Not Weapons Keening, Sunder, and Wraithguard: Exist to allow safe interaction with the Heart Prevent existential damage to the user Are not designed to extract or destroy it This implies Kagrenac anticipated ontological instability, not physical harm.
The Dwemer Disappearance Shows No Signature of Death There is: No presence of Dwemer souls in the Soul Cairn No Daedric claim in Oblivion No documented arrival in Aetherius No corpses No necromantic residue Within TES metaphysics, this does not constitute death.
Plane Creation and Access Are Canonically Common Canon examples include: The creation of Mundus Daedric pocket realms Timeline erasures and reconstructions via Numidium Thus, instantaneous plane creation or access is not extraordinary in TES. II — Lorkhan as an Ontological Exception
Lorkhan does not behave like other Aedra. He: Initiated Creation knowing it required sacrifice Introduced limitation as a path to transcendence Remains causally active after fragmentation This suggests Lorkhan is not bound to a fixed plane in the Aedra/Daedra dichotomy. Conclusion: A plane associated with Lorkhan would not need to obey the rules of Oblivion or Aetherius.
III — The Persistence of a Dormant Lorkhanic Plane Given that: Lorkhan’s Heart remains active No canon source confirms the destruction of any Lorkhanic plane Fragmentation does not equal annihilation in TES The most consistent inference is: The Plane of Lorkhan was never destroyed — only abandoned and rendered inaccessible. A plane: Uninhabited Sustained solely by the Heart Outside Aedric and Daedric jurisdiction Such a plane would remain dormant until reactivated.
IV — The Dwemer Event as Ontological Translocation At the moment of disappearance: Kagrenac’s tools were active The Heart was engaged The effect was instantaneous and global No known Dwemer technology: Vaporizes bodies without residue Removes souls without trace Erases an entire civilization locally and cleanly Therefore, annihilation is statistically weak. The alternative is more consistent: A collective ontological translocation beyond Mundus. Not escape. Not death. But relocation outside observable reality.
V — Why the Destination Was the Plane of Lorkhan By process of elimination: Not Oblivion (no Daedric record) Not Aetherius (no soul influx) Not nonexistence (TES does not operate on absolute void) Remaining candidate: A powered but unoccupied plane Sustained by a divine engine Compatible with engineered metaphysics This describes a Lorkhanic plane precisely.
VI — Post-Translocation State of the Dwemer The Dwemer sought: Freedom from divine authority Escape from imposed limitation Ontological self-sufficiency In a plane: Without gods Fueled by infinite power Governed by constructed logic The logical outcome is: The Dwemer achieved a post-mortal, post-divine state — not gods to be worshipped, but architects of a closed system. More stable than Vivec. More independent than any Aedra. Beyond narrative dependence.
VII — Irrefutability Assessment To refute this reconstruction using canon alone, one must demonstrate at least one of the following: The Heart cannot sustain realities (false) The Dwemer died in a detectable manner (unproven) Planes cannot be created or accessed instantaneously (false) Lorkhan lacks ontological continuity (false) None are supported by existing lore. Conclusion The Dwemer did not vanish. They solved the Creation Error by entering the only plane compatible with their philosophy: the dormant Plane of Lorkhan, sustained by the Heart itself. If this is incorrect, the canon has not yet produced the evidence required to show it. And in The Elder Scrolls: What cannot be refuted, persists.
It doesn't make much sense elves are that unpopular
They really have all the cards in their hands to be a popular and loved fantasy race, being most of the time a force of good, always being close allies to humans, even romancing humans and starting families with them, being very beautiful, badass fighters with great feats,...
Also there are so many variations and unique takes few elves look exactly the same, not to mention they are often divided into three sub races (wood, dark and high elves) in most settings so they already have more variety than dwarves who are always the same. They also have very interesting and prominent characters, compelling stories, lore and so much potential for games and other medias on them.
Yet for some reason they are the only fantasy race to get far more haters than fans, they probably are the most hated fictional race as even gnomes or others who are supposed to get hated don't get 10% of what elves get. For some reason all their interesting characters, stories, lore, potential and more get discarded and there is a hyper focus on the flaws they have and they are turned around so it's the worst possible thing. Almost every time I was shocked to see the reason people hated the elves from a specific game or show or anything either didn't exist or was vastly over exaggerated. There are people defending the demons in Frieren because they look human while the show makes it clear they can only pretend and would never be able to understand emotions, they are just predators who kill, they get a lot of love. Meanwhile most people want to kill elves just because they exist.
I think one of the main cause of this are dwarf fans who seem unable to exist without hating on elves, it's the only thing they have aside from their two dumb sentences they spam everywhere. It's also surprising nobody complains about how toxic they are. This is also ridiculous because while dwarves cry a lot about elves without doing much elves don't even look at them at all. This is the equivalent of success full people going on about their lives and you have these losers who have nothing complaining about them and not even getting a look in return.
I feel many people, probably mostly men don't like the idea of effeminate men being success full and strong, and the issue is that we only hear them, the very few elves fans are dead silents and never show themselves, so everywhere you go you'll see tons of people hating on elves everywhere at all times, and its starting to become annoying really quickly.
What would you like to see in an elf centered game?
For some reason nobody is willing to make video games on elves for some reason, but I was wondering what ideas you had or what would you like to see in such a game. Also what type of game and which elves would fit best together?
Why isn't there a single video game centered on elves?
For years I have been looking for games on elves and I couldn't find a single one centered on elves despite their massive potential, the fact there are none at all and that SO many people are demanding those kind of games, really I see it more and more. We got hundreds of vampires games, lazy and boring dwarven games, even games on goblins and orcs. But not a single on elves and I can't understand how that is the case.
