Jet Lag Exchange: Comment Bingo!

Hello everyone!

It's almost time – the Jet Lag: The Game Fic Exchange 2025 is about to go live. With almost 90 works dropping into the tag at once, I know that I am already a little overwhelmed with where to start :o

To give something like a lifeline for – or to gameyfy, as some might say – engaging with the treasure trove of fics, the lovely @huntedbybenforsport and I have set up a little comment bingo. How do you participate? Send this blog an ask [1] telling me if you'd like a 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 card, and I will generate one for you!

Once you've achieved at least a bingo, you can claim the appropriate badge below and request another (or go for a blackout).

Prompts range from specific types of fics ("comment on a Badam fic", "comment on a fic that has no comments so far") to specific types of comments ("leave a comment that's half keysmash") and also a few extra tasks (rec lists, hardcore prompts that are a little harder to complete). You can opt out of the hardcore prompts if you'd like to, or just embrace the challenge :D

hi! I can see the jet lag neurodivergence with my own two eyes and ears haha, but I’m new to the jet lag fandom and I’m wondering — has Ben talked about his ocd? and has Sam talked about autism? or is that just kinda assumed?

ooh, do you have nebula? they talk about these things on the layover! Ben mentions that he has ocd as part of his rebuttal to Adam's pitch to abolish paying for seats on airplanes in the Abolish Jet Lag episode:

Adam, I have to sit in the aisle because I go to the bathroom on airplanes a lot. And it's not 'cause I have to pee that much, I actually pee probably less than I should because I'm dehydrated. But I like to go to the bathroom to wash my hands because I have obsessive compulsive disorder, and I don't like to touch my nintendo switch unless I have just washed my hands or else it might get sticky.

With Sam though it's just a fandom headcanon because, well. it kinda makes the most sense 😂

adding to this: Ben also talks about Prozac in one of the very early seasons – I think it might have been circumnavigation? – where he takes it in the airplane bathroom and films himself while doing it. Yeah, that's a thing that's happened 😂

Now they're refusing to explain the grappling hooks!? 😧 And they apparently didn't coordinate that??? They just so happen to have independently brought grappling hooks just in case they would need a grappling hook!? 😧😔🤔

i relistened to the layover and I'm pretty sure they say/imply that Ben got his grappling hook because of the receipt Brian posted on social media back when he was invited onto all stars.

They're a bit cagey about it but second listen seemed to corroborate that. Brian meanwhile had no idea until Ben pulled his out (and Ben also wants sure Brian had actually brought his)

“i think we should make adam beg for the point.” and then when he did “i think you need to elaborate, that just didn’t convince me enough.” and afterwards “okay you can have the point. since you begged.”

some of this stuff is still so crazy to me, ​wdym sam has admitted he likes butt action, thinks that middle aged men are hot, has made adam beg for a point and has accused adam of sounding like he was coming
