I headcanon that at least once a week they push two of the beds together at James' behest, because it'll "make them better friends" or whatever. - They start out with James and Sirius sharing one bed and Remus and Peter sharing the other. But James must take up all available space and moves around a lot when he sleeps, and so does Remus. So Sirius always ends up smushed between the in the crack of the bed. - Also James and Remus radiate heat like nothing else, so it's a good thing Sirius gets really cold when he sleeps. The blankets get pushed off of them like an hour in. James is drooling and sweating all over Sirius' silk pajamas, the house elves are disgusted when they do the laundry.

Peter does not sleep on these nights.
