My daily schedule according to anti-kin mfs
3am: get up to aggressively bark and howl at the moon for 2 hours, waking all of my neighbors up in the process
6am: make myself a well rounded breakfast consisting exclusively of raw deer meat
6:30am: scream and cry for half an hour because my mom is forcing me to go to school and wolves CLEARLY do not go to school. my life is hell
7am: throw all of my deodorant in the trash because it blocks my natural đŤ đ đ˝âŻđâŻđâ´đâŻđđŤ
8am: arrive at school wearing my fav buttplug tail and galaxy wolf shirt
8:30am: have a vague memory of having graduated high school already, but that cant be true because no therian is older than 16 so here i am
9am: yell at my classmates for calling me a human and tell them that they're being therianphobic, and that im going to cancel them on twitter and make sure they never get jobs
9:30am: enter psychosis
10am: angrily email the school board for the 8th time this week because they won't put litter boxes in the bathrooms for me which is therianphobic oppression
10:30am: sit alone in a corner and growl/hiss at any humans who get too close to me
11am: enter psychosis
12pm: single handedly regress the trans rights movement by 10 years
1:30pm: refuse to sit in a chair for class and instead perch up on a desk. teacher threatens to kick me out, tragically i am forced to comply
2:30pm: cast a spell on one of my religious classmates as i leave school using my evil devil anti-human anti-christian magic
3pm: more raw deer meat omnomnomnom
5pm: enter psychosis
5:30pm: burn a picture of charles darwin in my trashcan because i hate all of that therianphonic science and biology nonsense. you can't tell me what to do CHARLES
6pm: enter psychosis
7pm: enter psychosis
8pm: i curl up in my nest of roadkill bones and sheets that haven't been washed in 3 months and gently fall asleep <3
I love those posts where someone's theriotype is used as motivation for self care.
Wolves need good teeth to hunt to keep them brushed and healthy. Birds need fruits and vegetables so make sure to eat some. Reptile skin naturally has bumps or imperfections so don't pick at it. Many animals are social creatures that live in groups so make sure to spend time with friends and family regularly.
Animals need good care and enrichment, so make sure to give yourself that.
Attention all celestial beings, deities, demons, and other ethereal entities inhabiting mortal meat suits:
We know itâs a bit of a drag dealing with these squishy, high-maintenance vessels. Eating? Sleeping? Showering? Yes, itâs all very mortal and inconvenient. But hey, this is your ride, and no one likes a broken-down car. Show some respect to your vessel, itâs literally carrying you around the mortal plane.
Hereâs your âVessel Maintenance Checklistâ:
Fuel it properly! Eat some actual food, yes pizza rolls count but throw in a vegetable or two occasionally.
Hydrate. Your body right now is mostly made up of water. You need to replenish your reserves once in a while.
Sleep! At least 6-9 hours. Powering through is not a long-term solution, my friend.
Showering and grooming. A clean vessel is a happy vessel. Your mortal friends will thank you.
Stretch and move. A little walk wonât kill you!
Remember: Treat your vessel with kindness, or it can start feeling bad. Youâve been warned.
This body may not be you, but it is yours. Even if temporarily. So take good care of it.
I love being human, but now I feel like instead of identifying as a human, I see my human life as a humansona, the same way humans have fursonas. I enjoy being my humansona daily but it dosent mean I'm a human.
"and the universe said i love you."
I do not know this baby but I love this baby.
This is it. The singular most uplifting video Iâve ever seen in my entire life. When Sam said thereâs good in the world worth fighting for he meant this.
How good is this?!
If I was a wasp, I'd sting you. If I was a venomous snake, I'd bite you. If I was a lion, I'd maul you. If I was a swamp, I'd poison you. If I was a mountain, I'd fall and crush you. If I was the ocean, I'd drown you. If I was a cat, I'd never let you touch me. If I was a dog, I'd run away. If I was a horse, I'd never let you break me. If I was a farm, I wouldn't grow for you. If I was a fire, I'd burn out without warming you. If I was a home, I would fall apart around you.
If I was harmless and small, and easy to hold, you would love me. If I was a worm you could put me in the soft earth and I would be helpless in your care. Of course you could love me, but could you love me if I stung you, bit you, pulled against you, hid and didn't understand you but wasn't harmless or helpless at all?
Could you love something for what it is, when that means you can't touch it or show kindness, maybe even never be near it, and it might never, ever love you back? Is it okay to exist and not belong to anyone, to not be useful to anyone, to be dangerous or poisonous or a failure but a part of the world all the same?
I know this is a metaphor, but if you take it kind of literally, there is an answer to this.
We build wildlife preserves. Often explicitly for the protection of animals and ecosystems that can and have killed humans.
Whenever a whale gets stranded on a beach, CROWDS show up ad risk getting bludgeoned to death trying to get it back into the water.
Every Zoo has a reptile house full of venomous snakes and a team of humans dedicated to giving them the best quality of life possible.
There are volunteer beekeepers who will travel for miles and miles and hours and hours to relocate an entire hive.
There are people who rehabilitate dangerous dogs and horses
There are people who restore structurally unsound houses
There are people who study the way that fire burns so it can rejoin the ecosystem and not be smothered on sight.
Every day, millions of people get up and devote themselves to things that can and will kill them by their nature. Things they can't touch or show kindness to. Things they can't go near. Things that are wholly incapable of loving them back.
And they do it because they love them.
Everything dangerous, everything poisonous, everything 'useless'- absolutely everything has someone, often many thousands of people, who loves them exactly as they are, without expectation that their affection will be returned.
It is alright for anything, even you, to not belong to anyone, to not be useful, to be frightening and dangerous and not adhere to any standard of success. It's all alright. You are loved. You are loved. You are loved.
Much of the North American environment was under 10 meters of ice last time there were no humans there. Just for context about how absolutely a part of the ecosystem humans are.
This is actually super important. We need to get away from this mentality that because humans do bad things, humans are therefore fundamentally bad.
How are we ever going to make this world a better place if we are not able to start from the place of believing that we, as people, are capable of good?
If your utopia doesnât start from a place of believing in the good we can do in this world, itâs not a utopia, itâs just sparkling misanthropy. All youâre doing is protecting yourself from harm by pre-emptively believing that all of humanity is vile and evil and corrupt, so that you can never be disappointed. Youâre not wise, youâre just living in your trauma response.
I mean itâs also very much a religious belief that humans are default bad, are born bad, and will never be anything but bad. Thatâs a religious belief of Christianity and maybe some other religions. Saying âhumans are the virusâ is just changing the wording of Original Sin to have science words in it so it feels more legitimate and universal, but itâs not.
Humans are animals. We are no better nor worse than any other animal. We are not more special or different than any other animal. We have traits other animals have. We arenât even the only species that is People. We have a unique combination of traits that arenât so rare, and honestly the unique things we can do are not âthinkâ or âtalkâ or âmake artâ, the unique things we can do are small like âthrow accuratelyâ and maybe âthink in narrativeâ, but that latter one is hard to see in other animals so itâs hard to prove only we have it.
Earth runs on love. We are part of that. This is our HOME. This is our home, we live here. This isnât a grocery store, this isnât a trash can, this is our HOUSE. This is the only one weâve got, there is not an Earth 2. Thereâs some frat boy jerks trashing our house and we gotta fight to make them stop and make it so they canât ever start again. And to be clear, lots and lots of people are doing that right now, and have been doing that for decades, and intend to keep doing that, and things are getting done to stop those people and fix the harm.
You donât get to just not take care of your home because you believe thatâs your nature. Not any such thing, thatâs a choice youâre making and youâre being selfish and shirking your responsibility as a human animal.
i hate when i see a supportive post for aplatonic people but then it says stuff like "love isnt what makes you human, you arent any less human" or something like that :(
im an aplatonic seagull kin. i am not a human. im not suddenly "invalid" or a "degenerate" just because i dont identify as a human. stop using "human" as morally good. humans arent superior to other creatures. i dont deserve to be invalidated just because im a seagull. why cant people ever support a certain group without completely dismissing another
this is aplphobia and alterhumisia
To be honest, as a nonhuman, I don't think it is discriminatory against nonhumans in any way - and I say this with love and not judgement, but I think you are misreading what this phrase means a little and that reframing it might make it feel less alienating to you, anon.
Because the way I see it, "You aren't any less human for being aplatonic" does not necessarily mean "you are human," or even "not being human is inherently bad". It's not a statement about nonhumanity being inherently bad, it's a statement about being refused humanity being inherently wrong. "Love isn't what makes you human, you aren't any less human" is a direct response to people being told they can't be human if they're aplatonic/loveless - which is a very real problem that needs this response! You have to remember that for humans, being refused the right to be recognized as human is just as dysphoric as being refused acknowledgement as your species is for you.
Basically, these people are not saying that you're invalid or degenerate or whatever for being nonhuman - they're saying that people who claim aplatonic people are inherently inhuman/subhuman are wrong for claiming that, and affirming that aplatonic people have the right to be recognized as human if they want it. It's less "you must be human" and more "you have the right to be human," y'know? If you aren't human, then you don't need to hear that message, which in combination with how often we are treated poorly for being nonhuman can make it feel like it's an attack on us - but it really, truly is not.
But that's just my two cents' worth; hopefully it's worthwhile food for thought and can help it feel less alienating.
blot <3 ok im so tired gn ill upload the circus trio all together tmrw
normalize therians who don't care for quadrobics
its not and never has been something you need in order to truly identify as a therian
it makes me so annoyed that people only think of therians as walking on all fours
if you do quads cool!! but its not inherently a therian thing
plus plenty of non therians do quads
Ta-da!! Look what I made!!
It's the therian flag but I replaced the colors with fabrics. I saw people doing this on Pinterest with other flags and decided to give it a shot
