Some stuff I’ve been doing to practice with stark lighting. Ended up becoming a little series in homage to Tim Sale instead. I think I shall call it…GOTHAM NOIR. Or HEAVILY INKED SHADOW STUFF. I know I am not the only one who names their drawing series. It’s great fun! Like naming a new pet or a really strong perfume.

- wilbur sees that baby tommy really likes to listen to him play the guitar, so one day he tries to teach him. spoiler alert - it doesn’t go well (involves a lot of crying from tommy and lots of yelling from wilbur), and they both decide to settle on tommy just listening to wilbur play :D

- tommy once stole wilburs guitar in an attempt to write him a song for his birthday and he accidentally caused wilbur to cry bc be thought someone stole his guitar

- ranboo used to follow techno secretly (it wasn’t actually secret, he would step on a twig every like two steps) every time techno left to train, and he would hide behind a bush or tree stump and watch as he sparred or conditioned. one day, after about an hour of training, techno calls out “do you want to try?” and turns around to find a very scared ranboo holding a dirt block in the middle of the clearing. techno looks at the block, looks up at ranboo, then looks down at the block again, and laughs. from that day onwards, ranboo would always accompany techno to his training sessions

uhhh bad’s minecraft avatar body language go brrr

Bad is soooo good at handling his MC avatar, here r subtle moments I noticed during his lore stream yesterday

every 3rd person pov moment (especially during his monologue with the egg!) 

avoiding eye contact and always looking to the side or at the ground (the “camera” was so shaky and you could feel the anxiety) 

pacing around. pushing quackity’s avatar when trying to convince him about the egg, but backing up when quackity started questioning him

subtlety switching to an axe when the argument got more intense

staring directly at ponk when he let him out of the egg room + bonus ponk always looking over his shoulder at bad as he left (it was so unnerving wtf)
