Cycle 16
To whom it may concern,
I can't stay here, not for the next cycle at least.. I feel wrong and like my body isn't mine. So I hope by going home for a bit when I return it'll feel like mine and not like something or someone is taking it over and puppeteering it. It may not work and when I return there may be some lingering effects but I can hope it does.
She says they're gone for now and that home is safe and that she'll look after me whilst I'm there making sure I'm back up to full health.
From Gideon.R.
P.S: Expyr if you get a hold of this note, thank you for agreeing to Noah's request for letting me stay in yours and others base this cycle. If there is a way I can return a favour or request, please let me know.
The water was warm.. not the best but it'll do. It'll be colder the further down but as of right now Gideon wanted to stay on the rocks and admire the sea life.
"he won again. Hm interesting" A voice called out.
Gideon only let out a small hm in response not showing much interest in the voice calling out to him.
"You know with all these wins he's eventually gonna turn on you, right?" The voice swam closer to him and halted when it spoke.
"I- I know he will but.." Gideon mumbled with a rasp voice still showing no interest in the conversation.
"But what? Oh come on Sc- Gid we've had people turn on us constantly please don't tell me you opened up to that one? Of all people? The one with the parasite?" The figure nagged, moving itself closer to Gideon.
"I did. He- he's trying to fight it and keep his friends at the same time." He retaliated, standing up and moving himself over into the water before settling back down.
"You ripped his arm off for goodness sakes! Who calls that a love language?" The water through its hands up spalshing Gideon in a fit of annoyance at his blindness.
"I HAD TO OKAY?! I WANTED HIM BACK. DON'T YOU WANT THEM BACK TO!" Gideon raised his voice towards the shadows, "you can not criticise me for something you would do too."
Gideon felt as the water rolled it's eyes and the current move as the figure lurking within swam away from him. The current and breeze shifting back to its warmer nature.
"Noah.. please be careful. You've put a target on your back." Gideon sighed before turning his head back to watching the sea life.
