Hunt the good stuff
Being positive may seem hard at times. A stressful job or an argument with a loved one may ruin a whole day. Bad days or weeks or even a whole year is inevitable, but it is possible to find a little bit of good in all that negative. Writing just one to thee good things that happened during the day, no matter how small, can improve one's outlook drastically.

Woke up at 4 this morning! Had a great breakfast. Feeling good about today!
Didn't work out today because I moved around my furniture. I don't know about other people, but moving furniture is a workout for me.
1st meal of the day: 3 eggs sunny side up.
Thoughts about a diet...
I've been considering starting a paleo diet (a diet based around what our paleolithic ancestors would have eaten), or at least a modified paleo diet. I guess it's not really a diet as I despise "fad diets" and starving oneself to achieve a "healthy" lifestyle. I've been doing some reading about a paleo diet and it's more than restrictions on what you eat. I see it more as a template for meals and just choosing to eat things that are more natural rather than eating something heavily processed.
Basically I'll be choosing foods that are low in sodium and sugar and also eating more vegetables and making more of my own meals. The paleo diet does cut out most grains, but I think if I make my own bread (and eat it rarely) I'll be eating something closer to the diet than the store bought bread; since the store bought version is pumped full of highly processed oils and sugar and homemade means I can control what goes into it.
This diet also means not eating a lot of dairy (from what I've read, let me know if there is anything different). I think it should be ok to have a glass of milk every now and then but cheese and yogurt and the like will need to go. But this is what I mean by a modified version of the paleo diet, avoiding all the additives and unhealthy ingredients that are in a lot of processed foods but still enjoying some of the more modern things that our paleolithic ancestors wouldn't have had.

Run 1 mile at approx. 9:30 pace.
4 rounds
Burpees: 10
Crunches: 15
Knee pushups: 10
As the weather begins to cool during the evenings, I'm going to be running on a track more. I'll be doing sprints with some light fullbody training and I'll still be using the elliptical on my heavier strength days.
Don't cry, don't complain, just workout.
I find that when I'm feeling out of breath while exercising, I can take a really deep breath and hold it for longer than normal and let it out slowly. Usually it fixes the out of breath feeling right away and I can continue without stopping.
