FANFICTION:
Life in Carbonite by thymidinekinase After the destruction of the Death Star, life on Yavin is in a state of constant tension, waiting for the Empire’s final invasion. Supplies run short and tempers shorter. Vel and Kleya reach an understanding on the topic of stress-relief. But with the ghosts in their past, can it ever be more? Five times Vel and Kleya were friends with benefits on Yavin, and one time they were more.
So Little Is A Stone by oldhobbies It’s been months now. Why is she acting like Luthen’s the first person in the Galaxy who’s ever died? Sometimes a phantom Vel sits beside her in the radio room, holding a fictional cup of tea with the worn-out care that clung to her like sweat on Yavin. Vel doesn’t say You know why. Every loss is different. Every one’s the same. Kleya hears it anyway. Or, the escape from Coruscant takes a physical toll on Kleya, and her rebellion is forced into a different shape. But even away from the Alliance, she has friends everywhere.
It's That Thing You Do (It Gets Me Every Damn Time) by write4good 5 times Vel sees Kleya without a bra, and the 1 time she does something about it.
find me in the present by sway_to Detective Vel Sartha and the medical examiner, Dr. Marki, don’t exactly get along. When Vel ends up tasked with investigating the death of her cousin’s Mon’s close friend, things change between them. Sort of.
Candlelight by velkleyaenjoyer During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Vel Sartha makes the momentous decision to leave the Order behind. Set free on Coruscant and cast into the maelstrom of Order 66, she finds an unlikely ally in survival: Republic Intelligence Officer Kleya Marki.
beginnings by darkdisrepair Moments of firsts in Kleya's life, from the day she was born and beyond- first days, first loves, and more.
truth comes finally into the light by lonely_is_so_lonely_alone On the brink of World War II, Kleya and Luthen travel to Italy and find a beautiful diplomat, her ineffectual husband, and a small blonde woman ready to burn down the whole country.
Where the Falcon Flies by rubikswriter Kleya of House Marki has worn a crown for so long that she can feel its weight even when it isn’t there.
You Came Like a Comet, Blazing Your Trail by JJPOR In an alternate universe and a very different version of the Cold War space race, does reluctant astronaut Vel Sartha have the right stuff to put her demons behind her and help save the world? And will she ever figure out just what the deal is with the mysterious Dr. Marki?
It's a Lovely Day Tomorrow by books_r_better ‘They want to crush us. They want us to be too weak to resist. We have to bear witness, don’t you see? Most people look away, we can’t be like that.’ / ‘So what do we do?’ / ‘We try.’ Kleya and Vel, another time, another place. Another war.
gravitational aftermath by sway_to The Sun is beating eaten by an alien micro-organism. If Kleya Marki is going to beat it, she’ll need Vel Sartha—and not just in the lab.
What We Became to Survive by dctorwhu Trapped inside a secret facility where cruel experiments turn children into weapons, seven girls survive the only way they can: by becoming a family.
Skylight Slipping Through my Door by Kiwi_in_space Kleya always pretends to be asleep when Vel slips into the yurt in those soft, slow hours of the morning. What Vel doesn't know can't hurt her.
Make It Look Good by write4good After leaving Luthen's Axis network--Vel is adrift. Without purpose. Then--she runs into Kleya. At a strip club.
belly of the beast by ofwings Kleya has done this calculus herself, more than once, wrapped in shadows and wielding information like a poison-dipped dagger. But it’s startling here, in the shining halls of the Alliance, rubber stamped by the Chancellor. There’s no fighting it.
What If The Way You Hold Me Is Actually What's Holy by write4good While hiding out from the Empire, Vel and Kleya are stuck inside during a rainstorm. And Vel gets a tantalizing demonstration on how devoted Kleya as a priestess would be.
Here Comes the Rain Again by rubikswriter Rain finds Kleya before she’s ready for it.
Conflict Resolution by pages_turned Vel makes a questionable decision on a patrol. Kleya calls her out on it. An argument ensues. Their method of conflict resolution? Missionary, so we can keep arguing.
You Fire Me Up And Then Drop Me Down Cold (Or Is That Reversed?) by write4good After a long night on patrol on Hoth, Vel is looking forward to a warm meal with her cousin. She's also hoping. Maybe. That at some point. She might see Kleya somewhere in the icy passageways. That would be enough to warm her up, she's sure. Meanwhile, Kleya has been avoiding Vel. As best she can. In the long months since Yavin. Because every time she sees Vel, her blood turns hot. And she finds it a little hard not to stare. What she really needs, is a cold shower.
Extra Special Care by write4good After an injury, Kleya gets some of Vel's extra special care.
Slow Like Honey by Kiwi_in_space It’s not fair how Vel can do this to her. Melt her into a puddle of desperation in just a matter of minutes. Play her body like an instrument - one that Vel has apparently made it her life mission to master the craft of. After years of going without this - years where Kleya was terrified to let herself admit how badly she needed to be properly touched, being with Vel is like a veritable feast.
That I Were a Glove Upon That Hand by JJPOR 1ABY: As the Galactic Civil War gathers pace, Captain Marki of Alliance Clandestine Operations has urgent business to discuss with a certain Colonel Sartha.
Aftertaste by rubikswriter They’re not meant to be tender about this; that’s the arrangement. They come to each other because the war is ugly, because sleep is unreliable, because desire is simpler than grief, and bodies are sometimes easier to understand than words.
When the Sun Came up, I Was Looking at You by Kiwi_in_space “Just this once,” Kleya breathes. She’s so close their foreheads are nearly touching. Vel nods, already desperate to get her mouth back on Kleya’s. / “Just this once,” she agrees. 5 times they told themselves it was a means to an end, and the 1 time they realized it was the ending they both wanted.
Hands and the Heart by kasel Vel lifts her right hand and hesitates for a moment before she catches the thin blanket Kleya’s draped over herself and pulls it higher to her chest. Then a sudden urge to keep the strands of Kleya’s hair away from her face strikes her. She wants to slide her hands under Kleya’s knees and shoulders and carry her to a proper bed so that she might sleep better.
A Moment Of Peace & A Glorious Sunrise by write4good After a long night of celebration and revelry on Yavin, Kleya wakes Vel while the rest of the galaxy still seems to be sleeping. She has something she wants to share with Vel. And though Vel is grumpy, she's always happy to spend more time with Kleya.
